Europa Hotel - Belfast

Visited Belfast for a trip to Titanic. Europa Hotel was very good. Big rooms, great beds and superb bathrooms. Right across from the famous Crown Pub with its original gas lamps and fittings. fabulous mirrors and lighting in bathroom. There were 10 of us and we all thought it was terrific. Dinner was nothing special but I have eaten in The Crown on a previous visit and would recommend it. Also breakfast is buffet style and I've never had a good one anywhere.

Spent two nights at the Europa . Very helpful staff, really comfortable bedroom. The Giro d'Italia was the cause of major traffic disruption at the hotel but the staff managed cars/bags etc well.

And the view of the race was ace!

have to say that the location is great. the room was great we got up graded to a suite. the room was advertised to have a hairdryer well we had none. the tv had no control and they could not get 1 for us. we went to the piano bar for a few drinks it was lovely and relaxing. we stayed in the hotel for our meal and we went to the restaurant. was dissapointed to say the least. the so called causeway fries were as hard as the causeway stones!

Spent 2 nights at the Europa over Easter. Location is excellent, parked the car in car park behind the hotel and walked everywhere. Check in was efficient, room was smallish but clean and plush. Had late dinner in the piano bar, lovely food, great service. Really enjoyed the stay.

Some confusion over car park payment, we were told at checkin it was 5 pounds per day but when exiting car park price was more than expected. Not sure where went wrong. Would have thought as checkin knew we were staying 2 nights would have mentioned the total cost.

Stayed at the Europa again for a short stay in Belfast. If your looking to stay in Belfast make the Europa your first choice. The hotel, staff, food and service are all second to none and it's central for all your shopping which is usefull, especially if you happen to be married to a shopaholic like me lol
