Me and my boyfriend travelled from Liverpool to Belfast for a weekend in May to conduct some business as professional photographers. We booked a standard double room at the Europa on recommendation from a client.

We were checked in early as our flight landed at 9am and we had to start work at 11, so we didn't want to nor could we wait around untill 3 for check in.

We were originally checked into a room on the 11th floor that wasn't made up from the previous guests checking out. The concierge came to check and arranged to upgrade us to an executive suite (Room 1130) for no extra charge, as it was the hotels mistake. We were also given 2 free internet vouchers for use in the hotel.

The restaurant in the lobby of the hotel was absolutely amazing. Wide range of food at great prices and high quality products with matching service.

The staff all around the hotel were very polite, efficient and helpful. We will definitely be staying there again in the future.

We visited for a short break over the bank holiday weekend and got a very good rate through hotels.com. The Europa is very grand and steeped in history, it is very well appointed and the decor is stylish despite the building itself being quite ugly. The room was spacious and comfortable with great views out over the city. It is in a great location, right opposite the Crown Bar (the only National Trust pub and a must for any visitor) and within walking distance of all the other sites. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was fantastic.

Very happy with our stay

My wife and I spent 2 nights on the May bank holiday weekend here and were very very happy.

First off we got a great deal for an Executive Room for 2 for Sat and Sun nights B&B I got the best rate on the phone. We were very happy with the size of the room from the very large bed, the 40” flat screen TV on the wall and the extra large bathroom.

The staff could not have worked harder, Ken was very helpful.

The breakfast was filling you would last the day on it.

Belfast was great, big changes from the last time we were up, However may I just say one thing, Belfast closes down on Sunday night, now I can understand why this is, so people can get up on Monday morning for work and that’s a good thing but on a bank holiday weekend Sunday should be a late night we had to get back to our room by 9.30 pm nothing was going on you could not even get a drink lol.

Excellent location for any thing you need in Belfast to be honest you wont get any better.

Our room was 1139.

We gave our car to the doorman on Saturday and did not see it again till Monday when it was dropped back at the door all for the price of £ 21 you cant beat that with a stick.

I recently organised my sister's wedding reception and chose this hotel. Even before the big day the banqueting staff were extremely helpful in helping to organise everything. From the moment we arrived after the ceremony the staff took over and everything went like a dream. The room was beautiful, the meal fantastic and the staff and service outstanding but without losing that personal touch. Add to that beautiful bedrooms and a cracking breakfast the next morning, had us all wanting to do it all over again. Hats off to the manager and staff for an excellent weekend.

My sister and I recently stayed in this hotel,we are from northeb ireland already however staying at this hotel gave us a new experience in Belfast. Firstly when we arrived we were greeted at the door by consiers who parked our car for us, that was one thing less to worry about trying to park in a city! We then went to check in,and the receptionist staff were so friendly/helpful and able to accomodate special requirments for my sister. Another worry of my mind! We then went to view our room which was breathe taking...as a well travelled person this hotel has upped the mark for my next trip, the room was spotless, was a brilant size.....and the beds.....they have to be the most comfortable I have ever experienced. After we left our luggage of we went down to the first floor bar,and relaxed over looking the fast city life, again with exceptional staff waiting on us! As we my sister and I were heading to a concert we thought we would grab dinner in the hotel restraunt, again it was a very pleasnt experience, perfect food and perfect staff! The following morning my sister and I made the most of our trip by odering breakfast
In bed which was delicious- then prepared for a big days shopping.until
It stay at this hotel I actually never realized how central it is.we were a quick few minute walk to the heart of the shops!it was great! I would reccomend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Belfast for both leisure or business as it ticks all the boxes to have a happy comfortable stay, and make you feel special.

Our Company had the pleasure at staying in the Europa on Sat. 25 April 2009. When we arrived on Sat pm we had a warm welcome from the General Manager Mr McGinn, which was relayed onto all members of staff. We were shown to our rooms which had been recently renovated and would have been considered " 5 star". Our weekend was definately one to remember as the hotel was the "hubb" of our stay, being centrally located in the city, beautiful bedrooms, pleasant staff and overall top notch service in all areas.

Hotel Europa has excellent location right at the Europa bus station where the airport busses arrive/depart. The city center's shopping area is close, as well as the Opera house, and the lovely Crown Bar is opposite to the hotel. Our room in the 7th floor was very good and tidy. The personnel at the reception was very friendly and helpful.
The only big minus was the expensive and very bad quality buffet-breakfast: the cheese selection was just one type of sliced cheddar and the ham selection was not much more variable either, the fruit was not fresh anymore, bacons, sausages and other items from the fried buffet looked overcooked and dry, I didn't try the them though. The personnel in the breakfast area were rude and the service delivered was rather poor.
If you skip the breakfast, the hotel is a great place to stay.
