I stayed at this hotel for one night due to work commitments. It was very clean and had an impressive entrance reception and seating areas - all very modern and new - suede wallpaper panels in the room corridors! Staff were very helpful and friendly - helped to bring in luggage promptly and booked taxis very quickly.
The ensuite bathroom was very new and modern with an impressive shower and novelty rubber duckling! Towels were extremely soft. Bed was very comfy and the room had very nice oaky furniture with flatscreen TV & the breakfast was good in the morning.
My only complaint is that the room was stifilingly hot (June) & the window opened onto a ledge so couldnt be left open all night. Plus my room seemed to be near a generator thing which made alot of noise early in the morning. Despite this i would definately stay here again.

I am a business traveller mostly, but stayed here for pleasure recently. Most friendly of staff, nothing is any bother to them. They also have the most comfortable beds of any hotel I've stayed in Ireland, you are assured a good nights sleep. Meals are terrific and would highly recommend this hotel. You are directly opposite the stormont building and a 5 minute taxi ride from city centre, costing about £8. good value if can be booked on 1800 hotels. Enjoyed my time here and will return

We loved our stay at the Stormont Hotel. The rooms are spacious, beds are massive and incredibly comfy and the pillows were the best i've ever slept on. We had a meal and drinks in the bar and the staff were really friendly and food was delicious. We even considered delaying our flights to stay another night. I would definitely stay here again and highly rcommend it!

We arrived at hotel and our reservation was not there. Receptionist was helpful and booked us in anyway. We were put in an executive room which was far from it. The bathroom must have been from the original build as there was plenty of filling of holes in the tiles and it was so small that the poor cat suffered. Bed was top quality and the room was updated but you can't hide wood chip. Two booked into room but there was one bathrobe, one set of toiletries and so on.
The breakfast for a so called four star was poor. The breakfast was cold and when mentioning it to the chief waiter he said "you must be one of the ones that like a hot breakfast" .... it wasn't continental! It was a buffet breakfast and for a four star it doesn't wash. I stay at least 180 nights a year away and this was a bad four star. Bar closed at 12 am on a friday with a good crowd waiting for more drink. Just dissapointed with a hotel with comes under the Hastings brand which I've stayed in before.

I stayed for one night on a business trip. It was just as expected of a four star hotel.
The staff were friendly. The Bar meal ( only served till 7 p.m.) was good. The gym looked OK. The restraint looked too bistroish for my tastes. Breakfast was normal.

Stayed: April 2008
