“Could'nt believe it when my room was a taxi drive away from the hotel”
Reviewed 18 April 2010

Booked this room online, 9 months in advance of my friend getting married. When i arrived to check in after the wedding service i was completely shocked to find that i was staying a taxi drive away. I immediately asked for the manager, and told her that this was completely unaccacteble but she done nothing to help me, by saying " you should have read the terms and conditions", maybe i should have, but lets get real here, if you book a room in a hotel you expect to stay in the hotel not a taxi drive away.
I feel after speaking to a lot more people that this is a major problem with this hotel, so please be ware as, stupid as it sounds, make sure that you are actually staying in the hotel when you book a room, & only written confirmation will guarantee you a room in the hotel.

Attended my brothers wedding in April at this hotel, we had no issues with our own family room but numerous guests had incorrect rooms allocated. A number of rooms were booked by my family in the main hotel. Upon arrival my Aunt and cousin where given an apartment a taxi ride away from the main hotel, not what was booked...my 2 Uncles were supposed to have a twin room, ended up in a single room with a camp bed. I find this totally unsatisfactory for a supposed four star hotel. Having said that I would not rate it 4 stars, attention to detail is severly lacking. Both the best man and the grooms man - who booked themselves direct with the hotel months before the wedding, were given wrong accommodtion, again an apartment a distance from the main building. They were so annoyed they cancelled their booking and stayed in another hotel instead.

We had a family room for 2 adults, 2 children but were only supplied with 2 towels?? there was no soap in the bathroom.

Staff professional, friendly and excellent with every request - specifically mention Marti, Chris, Martha, Leanne -- beautiful accommodations, safe and convenient location near Queens College, Museum of NI, botanic garden and shopping

When reaching the front of apartments it does not look good as the window is smashed .We stayed in a two bedroomed apartment and thought it was very spacious, beds were very comfy. Did have a problem with the en suite shower it did not work, did tell the cleaner but nothing was done about it and the other shower leaked badly as shower door did not fit properly. The Latvian girl was very pleasant (sorry didnt catch her name). would probably go back , Bus stop just round the corner and very regular into the city hall, although taxi's was just as cheap.

I won a competition for a night in their suite and I have to say it was one of the nicest places i've stayed the staff were very friendly the suites are secure and safe (they are across the road from the main hotel) the suite had a jacuzzi bath, massive tv at the bottom of the bed. We had a meal in the restaurant the food was excellent. I would use the hotel again as it close to a few bars and clubs and its quite easy to hop in a taxi to get to the city centre.
