Well located in the St Annes square part of the fashionable Cathedral quarter this restaurant delivers good enough food but is let down by the service, which is casual and bit self-satisfied. Dishes all arrived by different hands, and there was no attentiveness between course deliveries. We found the atmosphere lacking in charm, and the service ditto.

Greeted by friendly waitress who kindly took our soaking umbrellas and shown to our seats. Offered water but not really a fan of the glass of ice cubes and a spoon to share around the table... Menu had good selection and offered a good value 2 course special. Beetroot risotto was flavoursome however the portion was on the rather small size and the chilled mousse on top cooled the rest of the dish quickly. A colleague had the salmon and commented it was lovely. The rest of the party had fish & chips which came as a monstrous portion. Fish was good however batter was thick and quite chewy. As per the title, everything was ok and will prob be back at some point- a good location and have thoroughly enjoyed the turkey ballotine during festive period.

Thank Lynsey K

This restaurant has great staff and service but the food is just so-so. The menu looks appetizing but the actual food lets it down by not being as described.
The location is in a bustling, trendy part of town with tonnes of food choices, so I won't be rushing back.
Also the toilets are located upstairs which may not suit everyone.

Went to the early dinner fixe priced meal( I was hungry!) we were advised that our table would be needed in about an hour and a half- no problem. The service was excellent from start to finish. Empty plates were cleared very promptly. I had a delicious salad with grilled peaches, fish and frites, but arranged so artfully- lovely to look at) and then a panna cotta for dessert. Had to share the dessert with husband- could have eaten the whole thing it was so delicious.

The restaurant is in a lovely square in Belfast. So happy we stumbled upon it. it was definitely the best meal we had in Belfast,(although we also discovered an Italian place the day before that was also really good!!)

Can't recall the exact price for the three courses but it was excellent value considering for the quantity( generous portions) and quality of the food. - think it worked out to be equivalent to about 35.00 Canadian - a deal!!!
