I stayed here on a business trip last week for two nights. The hotel was great, the rooms were a very generous size and very well appointed with free wifi and everything on offer that you could need. The staff in the hotel were very helpful when we were asking for advice on places to eat nearby in the evening. I was incredibly impressed with the breakfast too - a wide range of options freshly cooked to order, fresh fruit salads, yoghurts, fruit juices, lots of pastries and breads for toast - delicious! The only downside which makes this a four star rather than five star review was that both nights we were staying there they had live bands playing in the bar downstairs from 11pm to around 2am. The noise could clearly be heard from the rooms making it very difficult to get a good nights sleep. Might be fine if travelling for pleasure but when on a work trip you don't want to be being kept awake until 2 in the morning. Asides from that a very pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Maybe ask for rooms as far away as possible from the bar area to try and minimise the noise.

My husband and I, along with another couple, were visiting Belfast from Canada in June and stayed in this hotel for three nights. The hotel was a little old but was very clean. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff was amazing. We felt like royalty from the moment we arrived until we left three days later. The hotel restaurant had great food, the complimentary breakfast had lots of choices. The restaurant was noisy on the Sunday evening with music coming from the bar underneath it but we had no problem on the following two evenings. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Belfast.

Room Tip: The rooms on the front of the hotel were a noisy from the bar across the street.

We had a brief stop over in Belfast before three weeks in Scotland and we chose Benedict's Hotel. We were nicely surprised. Our room was large and well appointed. It has a modern, but warm feel. The bed was absolutely luscious with a feather top, velvety sheets, and down comforter and pillows. I'm spoiled with my. Tempurpedic, so that's saying something. The bathroom was well stocked with Karre bath products. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and allowed us to check in a few hours early. The attached bar is really beautiful, with warm polished wood everywhere. The restaurant is huge and similarly styled. This is obviously a popular dining place for non-guests as it was really busy, even on a Thursday evening. Despite the number of diners, there were plenty of servers looking after us. The food was very good. We had garlic mushrooms to start, which were phenomenal. I had fish & chips, and my husband had rump of lamb. They were well prepared and quite tasty. I would just caution diners that portions are enormous, so splitting an entree is a good idea. We were very pleased with our accommodations, the service, and our meals. I wish we had had a few more days to enjoy our Belfast stay.

My wife & I stayed here for 2 nights whilst exploring this lovely city. From arriving to leaving we were not just completely satisfied, but impressed with every member of staff we encountered and the service they provided. The Receptionist gave us a warm welcome, upgraded our room booking and stored our luggage as we had arrived on an early morning flight. The room was ready early (lunchtime), very comfortable, good size, spotlessly clean and had all the facilities we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the superb Ulster breakfast each morning and having enjoyed dinner on the first evening, returned again the following evening. All restaurant staff were pleasant, efficient and showed enthusiasm for their jobs.
In summary: we rate our experience as excellent, have no hesitation in recommending it and plan to return as soon as possible.

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking the main road so it could be slightly noisy but the triple glazing is very...

Booked this hotel at short notice as my husband was going to Ireland on business after reading reviews on Trip adviser, we were not disappointed. The price was excellent and value for money, the reception staff were very friendly and efficient. Our room was large, spotless with everything you could possibly require and if you forgot your straighteners, charger, or toiletries they were all available at reception. There was an extensive menu and special offers so the choice is yours a very busy restaurant so to me that speaks for itself and always a good sign. There is a busy bar downstairs with either live music or a DJ, we could hear the music in our room but it was not a problem. An excellent breakfast full Irish if you feet like it is served in the dining room. Our stay was too brief but what we sampled we liked and we fully intend returning to this hotel and enjoying all it has to offer in the not too distant future.

stayed at the hotel for one night on the 24th June. Purpose was business I have been in Northern Ireland a lot over the last few months so decided on a change from the Ramada Shawbridge. Location was central but as it was only one night did not venture out. Room was an executive room and to be honest was nice, but no different from any four star hotel I have stayed in. Now to the best bit of the stay. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and in was excellent, staff are a credit to this hotel, very attentive in the restaurant and bar. Portions were generous and very well prepared. Chilli chicken and pepper chicken were a treat. My two colleagues had different choice and also said it was excellent. The hotel has a large bar within the premises that is open to none guests with live music most nights (I believe) There was security on the door which I did find strange especially in a hotel bar and on a Monday night through the evening the bar staff brought out tapas which was also a nice touch, Girl in the bar was also very attentive and would continually ensure everything was okay with us, which was nice as she never new we were guests, just doing her job and doing it well. Overall I think this hotel met our needs but would advise to check out the purpose of the security and nightclub attached as it will no doubt be very busy later in the week and weekend which may not be suitable for all. If you are looking for a central hotel with great food and fantastic staff then this is the one. If you are on business and a bit of a bore who sits in there room typing emails then stay at the Ramada but be prepared for good rooms and leisure facilities but limited food menu that is average at best, Girl in the Benedicts restaurant said to me if you go out for a meal you want something better that you can prepare at home, see is spot on and Benedicts does that.
