Stayed here in February as they were offering a Valentines Day package which included the stay, dinner and 2 free drinks. As I have already stated in a previous review on their restaurant, their food is excellent and the staff work like clockwork. Amazing staff in the restaurant teamed with tasty food made for a good experience.
The room is also very beautiful however depending on where you are situated your view may not be great and if you're picky about this then maybe ask for a different room location before staying. I didn't overly care as the room was beautiful. Rose petals on the bed for a great effect. The beds are extremely comfortable and the TV has a lot of channels. The bathroom looks amazing and the overall cleanliness of the hotel room is great. Extra pillows are also provided along with a few coffees and biscuits.
The breakfast was also wonderful, very relaxed and calm.
There is usually music on downstairs so there is something to do. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and I would also say to definitely have dinner there too.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here, they do amazing value dinner, b&b packages! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left the service was amazing. Staff are really friendly, the food was fantastic, great area for getting out and about but the bar/nightclub at the hotel was one of the best places anyway......, great when u can walk upstairs to bed and no waiting for taxis! Can't wait to go back, have stayed at Madison's hotel just around the corner and it wouldn't hold a candle to Benedicts.

I have stayed here a few times over the last couple of years, and the only problem I had with it is, that it doesn't have a car-park, although they give you a voucher for one on the Dublin Rd, about half a mile away, which isn't ideal, and you still have to pay! But on arrival, we were giving a free drink in the bar, which was a nice touch.

So while passing last Sunday night, I called in again, and the place was buzzing. There was a great atmosphere in the bar, and everyone seemed to be having a ball. Unfortunately I was far too old, but I enjoyed people-watching. If only I was younger....

Stayed here in Jan 2014, and loved the hotel. We had an exec double room for the first 2 nights, and it was excellent. Great bathroom and tub - one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. Breakfast was excellent, and service from all areas of the hotel was above expectations.

We'd originally only booked for 2 nights, and decided to stay a third. Unfortunately the room we were booked in was already booked, so we had to move to a regular double room. That room was not as great as the executive room. Same great bed, but the room was def not as well designed - had an odd old 'lazy boy' beat up leather chair kind of pushed in the corner, and there was a really odd light that was on motion censor. We couldn't figure out how to turn it off, and it became annoying as it would turn on in the middle of the night. Also - the room smelled like food at certain times of the day (indian at 2AM).

That said - we wouldn't hesitate staying here again - we'd just book the exec room. The hotel itself was beautiful and well maintained. Food in restaurant was great - and we really liked the bar. Good location too - right across from Lavry's.

Can't say enough about the service tho - the staff was fantastic on all fronts.

From check in to check out everything was perfect, the cocktails were lovely the evening meal was amazing and breakfast was the nicest I have had in any hotel. The bar is very lively and great atmosphere, we didn't have to leave the hotel. The beds were so comfy I didn't want to get up, the room was spotlessly clean and had great wee touches, newspapers and bottled water. I would highly recommend this hotel, one of our group members is in a wheelchair and the floor staff were so helpful they couldn't do enough to make sure she could access all areas as there are a lot of stairs in the bar area. I look forward to returning in the future.

If you are looking for a good hotel in a very lively late night part of Belfast then Benedict's would be a good choice. If you are after a sound night's sleep then maybe not. It's in a nice old building near Shaftbury Square and the bar and restaurant have some original features. I was upgraded to an 'executive suite' which was nice enough but it made me wonder what the basic rooms were like. Probably quite basic. B&B at £65 for two was good value and the breakfast was very tasty. As they say in Belfast, there was plenty of 'talent' in the late night bar so if that's what you're after then you've probably found it.
