We stayed one night and would recommend Benedict's for a short break in Belfast, this is a smart hotel with good sized comfortable rooms which are let down slightly by the bathrooms which are a bit basic even for the price you pay.

Breakfast was of a good standard and plentiful with a good selection of fruit, yoghurt and a full cooked breakfast to follow if desired.

While this is not a luxury hotel it is quite a step up from the more basic offerings, it is convenient to the Botanic and city centre area, though the street immediately around it is a tad rough.

The downstairs bar looks impressive but the clientele leave a lot to be desired, however if avoided this does not affect your stay.

Stayed here recently on a Monday Night and great band on, the restaurant was excellent. Loved the old style bar where you can sit and relax to the band until you've had enough liquid courage to throw some shapes.

Lovely big comfortable rooms and great bathroom facilities.
A big yes for undoubtedly one of Belfasts finest eating, drinking, entertainment and sleepover venues. Definitely will be visiting again.

Room Tip: Stayed here twice now-both rooms were excellent-definitely eat here

Sunday lunch £14.99 for 4 courses absolutely delicious and staff are very friendly and helpful! The roast chicken ham and stuffing with champ and gravy is great would recommend. Think they do a carvery downstairs as well which looked good.

I only popped in for a couple of drinks whilst on business. Was very impressed with the friendly and efficient staff and was more impressed when a small selection of food was offer to me on the house. My only bad point would be avoid if you are a cask drinker. They don't have any.

Benedicts was a perfect place for us during our two night visit to Belfast. The place has a charming "old time" feel to it with beautiful carved oak woodwork and plush wall papers. Our room was clean & comfortable with a nice bathroom with plenty of hot water. The desk staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. They went out of their way to see to it that we had directions, reservations, or anything else that we needed.

Their restaurant has a great look & feel to it. We had dinner in the hotel one night which was pretty good and at a good price. We found our breakfast to be much more enjoyable than our evening meal. They have excellent eggs Benedict, and if you are lucky, you will have the sweet young Brian as your server.

I recommend this hotel without hestitation

This was our 3rd time at Benedicts . This place is Fantastic the staff are all so helpful nothing is a bother to them. The food is brilliant , we had Dinner here every night, cannot praise the Chef and his team enough. The rooms are spacious , clean and decorated to a high standard, we've stayed in 5* establishments that are not as good. I cannot praise this hotel enough and look forward to our next visit.

Cannot fault this hotel. The rooms are beautiful, beds are huge and so comfy. It's spotless. The breakfast was so good and service was great. The evening restaurant menu was brilliant, something for everyone. The bar at night seemed to attract a bit of a rough crowd but it didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves. Will definitely stay here again
