We were told that the pub in he hotel is very popular, so my family and I booked 3 rooms near the back of the hotel away from the bar. (Lol! This is Ireland...you cannot get away from the bars. There was one behind the hotel with outdoor seating!). Oh, Well...we survived and it was great. The rooms are nice, although not as clean as I'd like (found some hair in the bathroom...ewww). If the room had air conditioning I could not get it to work. The windows are double sealed, so the noise was barely noticeable. The service people were always so nice and accommodating. The food in the pub was sooo delish! The manager actually came to the table and sat with my father-in-law as he experienced Irish whiskey for the first time and allowed him to try a couple to decide what he liked. Breakfast was included in the price of the room and was in the pub, as well. A few drawbacks, but overall I liked it.

We visited this hotel last weekend for my hen and it really was an excellent choice. The service from initial booking with reception to the bar & restaurant staff was above and beyond fantastic! Staff were very personal and nothing was any trouble. The hotel is in a great location and only 10 min walk from all the main shopping areas. The hotel bar is very spacious and provides excellent music on Saturday nights from live band downstairs followed by dj upstairs. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and the food was amazing! We were on an inclusive dinner package which was great value. I've stayed in many hotels and never got to choose from the full menu. Tab menus are usually always reduced menus so this was def a massive plus!! Goats cheese target - YUM!

I would like to especially thank the manager Andrew who looked after us very well! Very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.

Great deal and value for money, fantastic food, excellent staff and customer service - all in all, an all rounder hotel! We'll definitely be returning!!

We stayed at Benedicts on June 5 and 6 2014. We took our teenagers with us on our trip to europe and this was one of our favorite hotel stays. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful. Our rooms overlooked the outdoor bar, which was very loud while we were there on a Thurs and Friday night. If you stay here I would recommend that you ask for a room away from the outdoor bar. Other then the loud music, this is a great place to stay. The Restaurant is excellent and the breakfast in the morning fantastic. We will return to Benedicts in the future but ask for a quieter location.

Room Tip: Pick a room away from the outside Bar. I would also encourage visitors to get a room on the 3rd or...

Stayed here for a single night, the room we stayed in was lovely and really well decorated and even though the room was facing the street it was very quiet and reasonably priced. Bar is also nice downstairs with traditional decor and you even get a free drink courtesy of being booked into the hotel.

Chose Benedicts from Tripadvisor reviews and we got exactly what we expected, the boutique rooms were spotless, large and comfortable, whilst the window views are nothing special, you get up early and arrive back late, so who cares!

Breakfast is in the first floor restaurant and with loads of staff always available you never want for anything, the breakfast menu is extensive, but missing a kippers or smoked haddock, but that's a personal preference for a hotel menu choice. Everyone in our group had no complaints with breakfast.

The hotel is a magnet for hen and stag parties, but with only 40 rooms, it's not noisy, however the ground floor bar is rammed from opening to closing, not sure if it's the £2.95 cocktails all evening, or the live music and Dj's....whatever the place is absolutely buzzing with people having a great time.

We ate in the hotel on the Saturday night as part of our package and whilst the food choice was excellent and the service friendly and efficient, the volume of meals being prepared in the kitchen was obviously to high as delivery was slower than expected, but starters and main courses when served were excellent.

Our sweet order however was missed in the kitchen, and I think the chef had almost gone home when it was pointed out to them.....we got them eventually with an apology and 2 bottles of wine to compensate our party.....which was handled well and problem was sorted......coffees weren't even offered.....but we all wanted to join the party so not a problem.

receptionist deserve special praise as both girls were excellent with their welcome, advice and efficiency to help with anything we needed.

If we go to Belfast again we will definitely stay at Benedicts again and I shall recommend it to anyone asking for advice. Well done to everyone at Benedicts, you made out trip special.

Room Tip: Aim to get on the 3rd floor as you are away from the bars and music.
