After staying at Tara Lodge during my last visit to Belfast and was happy with it I decided to return.
Tara Lodge just goes from strength to strength. From Ciara at reception to the team at breakfast we where made to feel very welcome. Comfy, cosy, clean rooms and breakfast is just divine from their soda bread soldiers to their fry, pancakes, bread basket and coffee.
PERFECT LOCATION and excellent value for money.

My wife and I stayed for one night at the Tara Lodge this week and the experience was excellent. The staff are very friendly and efficient, the room was exceptionally spotless and well presented, the reception area and hallways were spotless. The breakfast is as good as I have experienced on any trip in the UK or worldwide, Colin who served breakfast was great, he knew when to turn up with fresh coffee when I needed it without been asked and was very friendly.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent.

Best service I've ever received at a Hotel. The staff was always available to make my stay more comfortable. The breakfasts were fantastic. Located in a very nice area with plenty of restaurants and things to do. No better place to stay when in Belfast.

Room Tip: Though I didn't see all of the rooms, the area was quiet and I doubt there are any bad rooms

5 stars, not because it can compete with the Hilton, but because the facilities, food and staff were excellent. Stayed for one night in one of their better rooms. The room was well appointed, modern and very clean. The staff could not have been more helpful and advised us where to go in Belfast and booked a tour for us with no problems whatsoever. The breakfast the following morning is 5 star cook up! The location of Tara Lodge is about 10 minutes walk from the city centre, or a cheap cab ride. The train station is one minute away. We would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Don't be too concerned about whether to stay in the main or the annex - both look equally good...

We were at Belfast two nights and I would had liked to stay in Tara lodge lot longer. Staff was wonderfull, they ordered taxi's for us, recommended turist attractions (and checked that there were enough tickets for us left). They also recommended perfect restaurants near the hotel.
Rooms were clean and spacious, with tee and other complimentaries.
At breakfast there were cereals, juice, yogurt and you could choose from various hot dishes.
It was a Halloween night and there were lots of students on the street making noise. It didn't really bother me, but I could hear it quite clearly.
Tara lodge is someting that I would recommend everyone and stay there another time too!

Room Tip: If you sleep lightly ask a room facing inner yard. At weekends there might be people walking and mak...

Our stay in Belfast was perhaps too short (just one night), but this hotel was just what we needed. Clean and tidy and well located to the attractions we visited. Service was noteworthy: clear directions to St. George's Market, prompt arrangement of a black cab tour, and help on arrangements to the airport. Fine Irish breakfast.
