We stayed here over Easter weekend and had a fabulous time. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts are superb. The rooms are lovely cosy and clean we stayed in the annex which was really nice. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Belfast. Easy walk in to the city centre with great bars and restaurants just a few minutes walk away.

We arrived at Tara Lodge quite early on Monday morning and expected to check in and put our bags in store until later, often you are made to feel a bit of a nuisance when arriving early at a hotel. This was not the case at Tara Lodge, big welcome from Pauline and her colleague on the front desk, lots of smiles and genuine interest in our journey, a few minutes wait and the room was ready, fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful with advice on what to see and where to eat even the guy on the desk as we returned late one evening had real interest in where we had eaten and what the restaurant was like. Beds were comfortable, rooms very clean and the shower worked well. Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice and service speedy. Location was good a lively area with plenty of places to eat and drink close by. We stayed there for three nights and would certainly stay there again if we ever return to Belfast.

There isn't enough I can say about this Hotel that hasn't already been said! Tara Lodge is a hidden jewel! Parking is conveniently located behind the hotel. Upon entering you are welcomed with a smile and a friendly face! Rooms are super clean and quite large for European standards. Champagne and Chocolate Covered Strawberries were in our room waiting for us (and the Champagne was 'real' Champagne... Not a Cava or Prosecco!). After settling in we went back downstairs and were advised on a few nice restaurants within walking distance we could try. (We ate at the Moghul an Indian restaurant - lovely!). Breakfast in the mornings has pretty much everything you could ask for, simply take your seat and order off the menu. A member of staff is literally always available to assist you with anything needed... There are DVDs available for in room entertainment and while there wasn't a mini bar, the Champagne was only £25 a bottle and they are happy to bring up a chilled bottle to your room. The second day we had breakfast in bed, what a luxury!
We would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone, it was a pleasure to stay here and I think that anyone who has anything negative to say about their stay at the Tara Lodge must be a cranky, negative idiot! :)

We only had a one night stay in Belfast so wanted to see and do all that we could in a very short time. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with directions to the local restaurants and attractions. They provided great suggestions for a good local restaurant and gave us recommendations for the best way to see the city in our short stay. The hotel was very clean, well appointed and very well situated for most points of interest. I would definitely stay again in the future. Thank you, Tara Lodge!

Just spent 3 nights in this lovely hotel. Close to Queen's Universiy, Botanic Gardens, and the train. Ten minute walk to the Crown Bar, Europa Hotel Opera House. Modern facilities, superb hot and cold breakfast options. Staff are very accommodating and helpful. Excellent value. Will stay here again!

I have stayed here now on many occasions and never had cause to complain. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are very well appointed, modern and clean, and the power porridge for breakfast is a must. This is an excellent Hotel and good value for money.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Tara Lodge, and from begining to end was an excellent stay. We arrived early on Thursday morning so we were able to leave our luggage with the hotel who locked it up for us, they also provided a map for us and marked it with some suggestions for places we might like to visit. The standard of our room was first class, very clean and well appointed. The breakfast menu was very good, and well cooked. Last but not least every member of the staff we met were most helpful. We would definatley visit again.
