We stopped at Belfast Travelodge last month for 2 nights. This was our first trip to the city and we were unsure what to expect. When we arrived, we checked in by a very friendly lady on reception who was very helpful. Our room was okay, it wasn't the cleanest Travelodge room that we had ever been allocated but for 2 nights and the amount of time we occupied the room, we had no complaints.
We were very pleased with the central location of the hotel, very close to the bus station with links to the Airport and everything in the city was in close proximity. It can be noisy if you are allocated certain rooms, there is a bar that is very close which is popular and has live entertainment most nights, it is well worth a visit, it is called Robinsons.
One small thing that impressed me too with this hotel, there was a PC and a printer in the main reception area - a lifeline for checking in and printing off our boarding passes for our return flight! Travelodge saved the day!

One thing that we noted was the friendliness of people in Belfast, it was one of the things that we noted during our stay, they always seem happy to help. It is well worth a walk down to the Shankill and Fall Road areas. We caught the hop on hop off bus up to the Crumlin Road Gaol and then walked to the areas from there. Whilst possibly unsafe during the evening, we walked around during daylight hours and encountered no problems, despite this, the Shankill Road area felt much safer and we had a pint in the Rex Bar.

We would certainly recommend this Travelodge and would not hesitate to return. Belfast is a lovely city and well worth a visit.

Stayed here for the weekend, excellet location most things within walking distance. The staff were friendly and very very helpful. Had a fantastic weekend in the City everyone was so friendly, did the open top bus tour and the Titanic museum worth a vist. Will definately visit again and Travelodge would be our choice of hotel. Overall very happy

location good as it is walking distance from city centre but from my window there was homeless, alcoholics hanging about at the back of the building.
the hall outside my room and room stank of cigarette smoke.
the staff were friendly and you can order a nice pizza up to your room quite late at night.
the room and bathroom were quite dirty, grubby and very small.

Dear Debo 19866
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. The hotel is completely non-smoking unfortunately some guests ignore this. However the room should have been deep cleaned and all odours eliminated and I would like to apologise if this was not the case.
kind regards

This is a typical Travelodge, clean, tidy and well located. The bathroom was clean and although there was a little noise at night, the windows done their job at stopping it from keeping us awake. The only downside is there is no parking near the hotel, although the hotel does have an agreement with a safe and secure car park which is about 15 mins walk away. The mattress was a bit worn but was clean. Not a bad stay, would certainly use again.
Belfast is great, so much shopping potential and amazing sights. I wish we had had longer to explore.

Apart from the thin walls and squeaky doors, the travel lodge is close to many shops and amusments. Great for those out all day and only in need for a comfy bed in a nice room. Great for Belsonic and close to a bar and a pizza-place.
