Stayed here in June 2014 for business. Had the most amazing experience and will be back!

The staff where second to none, they were friendly and attentive. Could not do enough for you! I travel a lot with business so a friendly face can be very welcome.

The hotel was spotless, very well presented and the rooms were immense. The room was a good size and bed very comfortable. My bathroom had a TV in the bath too was is a neat gadget to help you unwind. The rooms are modern, well equipped and very well maintained.

I ate in the bar that night and had the fish chips with the nicest mushy peas I have ever had. They were Aussie style, never had them like that before- tasty! The bar menu actually seemed very good. Normally hotel bars can be nice but predictable. Park Avenues bistro menu was not your normal hotel bar, they had really great options- trying the Pork Belly next!

All in all Park Avenue far surpassed itself. I booked it based on the presentation of the website, it seemed a good looking 4 star hotel nicely located close to the city centre. However in reality it was even better! Park Avenue take a bow....you deserve it!

Booked this hotel because of location (nearest hotel to City airport), and fact everywhere else was full or had inflated prices (turned out Robbie Williams was in town).

The outside gives the impression of a 1970/80's built anonymous conference hotel, so expectations were quiet low on entering. However, we had a very pleasurable experience: the (deluxe) room was spacious and comfortable, with great view; all the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful; meal included in package was good quality (pub grab).

Booked direct with hotel for a good deal.

Room Tip: Went for a package and deluxe included.

We stayed here for 1 night while at a concert in the Odyssey Arena. The room we stayed in was Room 106 which is one of the Executive Rooms. The room was great, nicely decorated, fantastic bathroom, clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and very pleasant .The food was very nice and service was great. The breakfast was also very good with a wide selection available. I would definitely stay here again if I was coming to Belfast, we would really recommend it and the room was worth the upgrade.

Room Tip: We noticed that there was not an option for breakfast room service as we like to be lazy and have br...

First of all what lovely staff. Reception, bar, restaurant , they couldn't be nicer nor do more. The rooms are spacious and super bathrooms. The irritations are silly but enough to keep it off the top. Very poor Internet in the hotel, none at all in our room. TV in the bathroom, lovely, but it didn't work ! The stylish basin and tap....the tap was lose and falling around ! As I say minor fixable issues but would I stay again.......100% yes. It's a really lovely place with lovely staff.

We booked the 'sleep in' special offer as we had previously stayed in the hotel and found it first class. As soon as we arrived we got a big friendly welcome from the reception staff. The check-in was very smooth and it really did feel like home from home. Our room was really spacious with a double and single bed and was lovely and warm. We went to Gelstons Bistro and got our complimentary drink on arrival. Again the staff in the bistro were very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. I was heading out for the evening to the Cultra Inn to meet up with friends and the location of the hotel was ideal, only and 10-15 minute drive. In the morning when we went down for breakfast the restaurant staff made us feel so welcome and the breakfast was delicious. We had the option of a later checkout time but as we were going out for coffee we checked out shortly after breakfast. Again the reception staff were very friendly and said they hope we would be back again. We most definitely will be!!

My wife and I stayed here for one night and everything was fine except for one thing. We were placed in a smoking room which stank of cigarettes. I know that we could have easily gone down and asked for another room but we didn't (wife!) and that is our mistake. I am sure I requested a non smoking room when I booked online.

All I would say to both future bookers and to the hotel itself is make sure you ask about what sort of room it is before you check-in.

On a plus side we found all the staff to be friendly

Room Tip: Ask if its smoking or non smoking room
