Don't be put off by the boarded up houses at the end of the street - this hotel is in a great location which is buzzing and busy and just a good walk from the centre. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly and the bedroom and bathroom enormous!
The only downside really is that all the rooms are very dark but I know that's the style of a boutique hotel! Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Even the rooms on the front aren't too noisy because they are all double-glazed.

Excellent hotel, right next to Queens University as name suggests! Room was very nice and breakfast was very good also, freshly cooked to your specification. Free parking outside. Not far to walk to city (or£4 taxi if lazy)

I stayed in this hotel for two nights in May 2011. I had a lovely stay. The room was huge, king sized bed, big flat screen TV, Ipod charger, Chocolates on pillow, big shower, safe in room, arm chair. We heard no noise from other rooms. Staff were very friendly. There was also WIFI in the room which was a great bonus. The breakfast was lovely and I really enjoyed it! Location wise it is about 10/15 mins walk from the city centre. The street it's on has about 20 restaurants so you don't have to walk into city centre for a bite to eat. It's also a five minute walk from the History museum, Queens university and the Botanic Gardens. (All are free in) If I was to go back to Belfast I would definitely go back to Dukes!

A first class hotel - clean, comfortable, modern decor. Very helpful and friendly staff. Superb food - good quality ingredients beautifully prepared and presented and superb value for money. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel provided this high standard is maintained.

Room Tip: We chose a deluxe room which was lovely

Thus is a great hotel for any visitor to Belfast. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every minute! Very friendly staff and a fantastic room (109). Also handy for the town centre (about a 15 minute walk). Dont midd out on a meal at Mollys Yard (literaly around the corner).

Dukes Belfast:

Pros.

Great daytime staff
Nice big rooms
Modern agreeable décor
Wonderful breakfast/staff

Cons.

Door is locked each evening
Night staff have no customer service skills whatsoever
It’s too much hassle for them to open the door to let you in
Room took a long time to heat up
Toilet wasn’t clean (On my first stay)

Would I stay again: Absolutely not. If I want to stay in a place that locks its doors I will stay in a hostel which is much much cheaper.
