We needed a budget overnight stay for an early start in Belfast. Booking at the last moment made booking difficult, but I got a ‘twin room’ through booking.com. Price was reasonable as breakfast was included. It was a pity that it wasn’t advertised as a triple room as this would have been of interest to us. I informed the hotel that we would be coming at 10pm, but we had difficulty finding the venue, while using the directions provided on the website, and so arrived at 10.20pm. At check in the receptionist said that she was about to cancel our room as we were late and then rattled through the check in details so quickly that I had to ask her to repeat them, The hotel appeared to be clean but had a musty sort of smell, which reminded me of too much air freshener and no fresh air being allowed to circulate. However our room was very clean and nicely decorated. The room was quiet (Tuesday night) and beds were very comfortable with lovely fresh sheets. At breakfast, the waitressing staff were pleasant and efficient, serving lovely fresh toast… so nice not to have to queue at a toasting machine… I have to make my own toast at home! I would consider using this hotel again.
