“lovely and welcoming”
Reviewed 26 August 2013

this was the best b&b we stayed in during our trip. the house is beautiful and the room was great with a large en-suite shower room. Olive was very welcoming and was constantly checking that we had everything we needed in our room and was very helpful with advice on local transport, restaurants etc. the breakfast was excellent (particularly the porridge).

Thank you to Roger and Olive for your very welcoming hospitality. Great advice re places to see and local geography with respect to riding our bikes and public transport. The food and service was excellent. Best porridge ever! Our room overlooked the garden and street and was perfect for our needs. Roger allowed us access to his shed so that we could house and maintain our bikes. The family even came out to watch me race and this is indicative of their genuine warm nature and kindness. If only we could have boxed them up and taken them with us on our travels!! Keep up the good work.

The rooms were clean and well appointed. Since this is on a busy street and we were in a front room, the road noise was fairly substantial. The bathroom was relatively small, but adequate. We weren't able to park "off road" as their parking area was full. The breakfasts were lovely and we appreciated Olive’s help in printing out some information we needed.

We stayed in 12 B&B's during our 3 weeks in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland and this was one of the smallest, yet more expensive rooms - but that may be because it was in Belfast. It may be good value compared to other B&B's in Belfast.

This was a great place to stay for us. A good location with shops and a few eateries a 10 minute walk down the road. A good 'home base' as we travelled about the Belfast area. Comfortable and friendly with off street parking for my car. Thank you.

From the warm greeting when we entered the door even though we were earlier than expected to tea/coffee and cookies once we had settled into our beautiful room on the top floor, we felt like old friends instead of guests. Great advice for getting to the city center by the nearby bus and suggestions for attractions, restaurants and pubs. We loved Belfast and Ravenhill House and hope to visit both again soon.

From the moment we were greeted at the door with tea and biscuits we felt extremely
Comforatble in this beautifully kept B&B. Roger was an amazing host who was very gracious and helpful with recommendations for sightseeing and highlights of Belfast. Everything from the delicious and plentiful breakfast selections to transportation arrangements were taken care of by Roger without hesitation. This is the top of the list for the best B&B we have ever stayed in and if we ever travel back to Belfast this is the receipt
only place we will be staying at! Thanks for a great stay :)

In a month-long Irish trip, this was our absolute favorite B&B! Impeccably decorated and elegantly furnished, the home and cuisine are gems. Their strength is visiting with guests gracefully and long enough to provide perfectly-tailored advice about local eateries & activities! We could have spent weeks in Belfast following their suggestions!
