Simply a great place to stay, clean, tastefully decorated, in a location that works well for getting into Belfast city centre and wonderful hosts who balance being attentive with giving you your own space.

We were made very welcome with tea / coffee in the lounge when we arrived and shown to a well appointed, large room that was both homely and comfortable.

Wonderful choice for breakfast and the cooked food is mainly from local sources and beautifully cooked.

Belfast is an interesting and complex city and we found it such an interesting place to stay. On one hand a happy, well adjusted place where everyone makes you welcome against the back drop of parts of the city that are still segregated by walls and gates.

We booked Ravenhill in the hope of finding a quiet and convenient base for our first weekend visiting Belfast and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Roger and Olive were wonderful hosts (attentive but not encroaching) and were very helpful when travel delays struck and we were later arriving than planned. The bedrooms are beautiful and the breakfasts, which had also been a factor in our choice of B&B, were superb. Would gladly recommend to anyone and hope to be back soon.

I have stayed in Belfast B&Bs on many occasions. This is the best I've found. We were there in NOV and DEC 2013. What an outstanding place to stay! Clean and well kept. The proprietors, Roger & Olive, are the nicest people in the world, quick to help with reservations, taxis, etc. They were very kind to my family, going out of their way to let us store luggage, park cars, and finding my wife's lost credit card! Can't say enough nice things about these folks. Ravenhill is a great area, too, close to Ormeau Road & not far from the City Center. I would absolutely recommend Ravenhill to anyone visiting Belfast. BTW, the BEST Ulster Fry breakfast in town! All the best to Roger & Olive.

Having stayed in numerous B&B's and guest houses I have to say that RavenHill is one of the best, if not the best, I have visited.
No detail has been missed with everything from the friendly and personal welcome down to the freshly squeezed oranges in the morning.
The rooms were of a good size and we had everything that we wanted.
If I had to include a bad point it would be that our room was at the front and subsequently could hear a bit of traffic on the road outside, but this wasn't too bad.
We will definitely be back

We spent a long weekend at Ravenhill. It was warm, very comfortable, elegant and in a great part of town. The breakfasts were sooooo lovely. Above all the welcome was relaxed, informative and friendly. A perfect place to stay.

We spent 3 days at Ravenhill Guesthouse as part of our bicycle tour. This place is a beautiful, restored Victorian residence from 1886 and extremely well cared for! Roger and Olive were so very welcoming on our arrival and served us coffee and cookies by a warm fireplace! We had a room on the top floor and it was very clean and the bathroom was very modern with a great shower! The breakfast was amazing with so many choices and so delicious to the palate! There are great eating places just a 5 minute walk away and would recommend the Errigle Pub for great food! The room also has a book of eating places and sightseeing in Belfast. Roger and Olive can provide you with all kinds of helpful tips and ideas for you travel around the city! If you have a bike, they will keep safe in their garage overnight! We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Belfast!

I have stayed here several times and it never disappoints. Warm welcome, nothing is ever too much and information provided when needed. Room was spotless and the breakfast excellent. Car parking on site.
I'll be back again to stay here whenever I come back.
