Warren House is about 10 mins drive from Belfast City Centre. However, it feels like another world. It is beautiful Edwardian house set in tranquil gardens and guests seem to return time and time again. Mary apologised that we had the small double as we were only staying for one night, but because the scale of the house it was still large! Breakfast was lovely, served in an elegant dining room at 7am so that we could make our ferry. Our dog was made very welcome, especially by Mary's granddaughter.

Stayed here for a long weekend and enjoyed our stay. Mary, the owner, was very hospitable. Breakfast was a feast, from numerous cereal options to Marys cooked Ulster breakfast.
The only downside is the location. It is located in Dunmurrey, about a 10minute taxi ride from the centre of town (8-10pounds) or you can catch the bus which is a 2minute walk from the guesthouse.

My wife and I have stayed at the Warren House twice, most recently in January 2006. The house, built in the early 1900s, was the home of John Delorean while he built his car in the area. The location, the neighborhood of Dunmurry, is a suburban area of Belfast south of the city center, which is accessible easily by road and by bus or train. The Public Record Office is only a mile or two up the road as well. The proprietor, Mary Hughes, is very friendly and cooks an excellent Ulster breakfast.
