“Nice hotel”
Reviewed 8 August 2013 via mobile

Stayed here for two nights in July. Quite a good location about a ten minute walk from the centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only had breakfast in the restaurant but it was very nice and is served until 3p.m!!! We arrived very early in the morning and reception were very happy to look after our bags until check in. This is a good hotel in a good spot.
My only moan would be that you need more plug sockets in the rooms madisons!

Although we did not stay here, we ate here one evening during our weekend away. The food was absolutely amazing. Faultless, filling and fantastic. Wish we lived closer as it was also great value for money

Stayed here with my son on the 20th July, a Saturday night....After a few small hiccups, the reception staff couldn't have been more helpful!!. We had lunch on the Sunday before visiting the Titanic Museum. Food was excellent!! would stay again. Also lively spot on weekends!!

I wouldn't recommend Madison's Hotel. While the front desk staff were undoubtedly friendly, the facilities were poor. The double room (pre-paid for at £70.00 per night) was small, stuffy and, because of the absence of any air conditioning, stifling hot, day and night. This meant that I had two nights of near sleeplessness. It didn't help that there was loud live music and a nightclub downstairs on the second of these nights (a Friday). No less frustrating was the fact that the promised free wi-fi never materialised due to an unexplained "fault", which I was told would not be resolved for an unspecified number of days - and certainly not during my two-night stay. When I asked if I could be facilitated with a dongle because I needed email access for business reasons, my request was flatly refused by the manager/owner and I was pointed in the direction of a local internet cafe. All in all, this was not a good experience and I will not be returning.

Their lunch deal is superb, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough: £5.95 for a main course and a glass of wine or pepsi. The food is always delicious, especially their lovely buttery mash and homestyle chips. Well worth a visit.

Me and my hens did the cocktail making class here to start off my hen night, then had a meal afterwards. The cocktail class was brilliant craic! Enjoyed it thoroughly, maybe a little too much as I can't really remember what the food tasted like afterwards :) but I do remember I enjoyed it. Great staff, lovely hotel, great value for money and I will be back to enjoy the food properly.
