“Location Location!”

Overall visit was really good. Stayed Oct 23rd/24th with my girlfriend. Purchased stay in the hotel via Groupon online deal. '2 Nights stay with one 3 Course meal and breakfast'. Ate in the hotel restaurant our first night where we received a separate menu which was expected as we had purchased an online deal. Food was decent, portions not overly large. Breakfast in the morning was decent as well although again I would say the portions where not overly large. The happy hour in the bar for the cocktails was great, although service was slow at some stages due to the fact everyone was ordering the cheap cocktails. Students coming in and getting their cheap drink, but I didn’t complain this added to the atmosphere of the bar/restaurant. Location is the main attraction I would say for this hotel right in the centre of Botanic with the train station a 2min walk up the road and restaurants/pubs all within walking distance. My only negative of my stay was the orange juice for breakfast could have been colder! :)

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing out onto the street!

We didnt stay in a room but we dined in the restaurant and it was one of the most delicious meals Ive ever had. The meal deal for 2 courses for £10 was more than generous as the quality was 5 star. The service was efficient and friendly and even the cocktails were on offer and very strong!! Will be returning

Our overall visit was really good. Nothing was too much trouble for the helpfulness of all staff employed at the Madison. Train station literally 3 mins walk away and plenty of restaurants around to cater for all tastes. Cocktails in the bar esp during happy hour were brilliant! Only negatives was the bed was too soft, room rather warm and signal for wi-fi access very weak in the room. Had a fabulous stay and wud definitely return and recommend to others.

My husband and I stayed on the 7th October - 9th October. First night was a problem as window wouldn't shut properly and noise from the street below was terrible - next morning I asked if we could get a different room. Amanda upgraded us to a kind size room and couldn't have been nicer to us. The bar staff were friendly, David and Paul specifically. Restaurant staff were lovely also and food was fantastic.
Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

When my boyfriend and I checked in and went to our room we noticed straight away that there was stains on the duvet cover. We had payed for a superior suite and although the room was lovely we didn't want to stay in a room that didn't look clean. I went to reception to request something to be done and was offered a bottle of prosecco and a room change to a king room. This was not to the same standards as the previous room as they did not have any suites left. The room was very run down and the bathroom was not in a good condition. We were moved back to our original room the next day and our night spent there was much better. However we were still not impressed with having to stay in a different room the previous night and I asked to speak to the manager upon checking out and were told we would not be given some money back even though the room was not even close to the standards of the other room. We were offered a money off voucher but we did not accept this as we would not return.
On another note the service in the restaurant on Sunday was not great as I ordered cranberry juice and received apple. Then I ordered a croissant and was given something totally different.
Overall we were not impressed with this hotel and this had an impact on our short stay in Belfast. Would not recommend and we would not stay again.

My partner and I have just got back from a stay at this hotel. We had an amazing time!
It is within walking distance to the city centre and quite close to the Titanic Museum (our main reason for visiting Belfast.)
The room was nice and comfortable, warm at times due to our windows looking out into the middle of the hotel.
We received excellent service from all the staff, even prior to our stay via email contact. It was like nothing was any trouble at all. The lady who served us breakfast every morning was so friendly! She made us feel so welcome!
We had no problems with the food at all. Breakfast was lovely. Lunch was lovely. Dinner was lovely.

We will definitely stay again!

Located in the university side of town this hotel is a nice place to base yourself for a Belfast stay. Free wifi was a good start. And the restaurant and bar are nice. The food was good.

There is public transport closeby but walking to the city centre is only 15 mins or so.

There is no parking at the hotel but street parking is free across the road.

The rooms are on the small side but comfortable. There is a safe in each and the bed was comfortable.

The staff were lovely and always there to help out.
