“Fab hotel!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 January 2014

Stayed here with my friend, we live bout 15 min drive from here but it's my favourite hotel in Belfast! From booking to check out the service is exceptional. Booking is easy and I'd recommend telephoning as the reception staff are first class, check in is quick and easy.

The rooms are fantastic very clean and comfortable and reception are very happy to help if you need anything from extra pillows to iron and ironing board. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The beds are very cozy and comfortable.

I'm a regular at The Avenue nightclub and the cafe bar downstairs in Madison's, the bar staff are fantastic I'm in so often they know my tipple without me having to say a word. Service is prompt and courteous and even if it's very busy staff are very quick and there is enough staff per customer head so you don't have a long wait for being served.

The entertainment both the live group in cafe bar and DJ downstairs are very good the music caters for a wide range of tastes and guests get free entry to nightclub which is open till 2am. The door staff are very helpful and there is never any bother as they do first class job of keeping you safe and the undesirables out.

Breakfast at Madison's is top notch the quality is very good, great choice and variety of breakfast options to cater for everyone. The waiting staff are prompt and courteous and hot breakfasts are served quickly and efficiently!

The staff here make the hotel the unique and exceptional place it is, the hotel itself it's of high standard and is always clean and tidy and well kept. If your looking for a good value hotel in a great location with exceptional service and friendly helpful staff in Belfast book into Madison's you won't be disappointed!!!

Room Tip: All rooms are good :)

Surprise night away booked by the hubby. great value, room very clean, spacious and modern. No iron in room but phoned reception and got one right away :) very good location close to train station and local shops and restaurants. Hotel has bar and nightclub attached , we choose just to stay in bar for drinks which had live entertainment. cocktails and entertainment was fantastic good atmosphere :) would recommend to couples or group of friends. Breakfast in morning was lovely with a good selection on offer.

Booked room through late rooms. £63 per night for 2 with breakfast so can't complain too much. Room was cold all night despite radiator on and a little noisey. Bed was small and not really comfortable. Front of house staff at check in was pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was nice as well. Not a bad stay but probably would pay a little extra next time and stay somewhere else.

This hotel is right on Botanic Avenue, the busiest street in this funky, youthful, student-oriented part of the city, and though its poky lobby promises little, the rooms are a pleasant surprise, with good solid doors and a touch of real flair here and there. Ask for a room at the back if you want a quiet night - but noise is the price you pay for the in the heart of things. The bars are huge, the restaurant meal times more or less continuous, giving great flexibility for lunches, evening meals and breakfasts. The Full Irish breakfast is less fulsome than I'd hoped but the staff are friendly and it's altogether a good deal for a hotel in a regional capital city.

Hotel has no parking and during university term it is almost impossible to get a Parkin space most of which short stay spaces unless you weave the streets near by. But it is in a great spot for everything, pubs, clubs and shops not too far away, plus the cocktails in their own bar are very cheap and delicious during happy hour. The breakfast was lovely made to order!! But the hotel was basic and the bar.....VERY dilapidated could do with new chairs! However we had a nice stay, not too expensive and a bus to city centre close by.

Its some years since I stayed in the hotel and it continues to impress in terms of its service, comfort and prices. The food was very good, bar prices excellent for a boutique hotel although the misiuc was a little loud for conversation. The rooms were very comfortable and bathrooms well equipped, if in need of a refurbishment and the number of plugs in the room was a constraint but we overcame it. We had a problem with WiFi but it was quickly sorted when raised with reception.

great location, lovely room, friendly staff and great atmosphere in the bar. Have stayed a few times here and was delighted to get such a good deal to stay this weekend just gone. I would highly recommend the hotel as a central location - away from the centre of the city with just a 15/20 minute walk to the city hall. Bus stop outside the hotel if you need to take it into town but quite a nice stroll if you want to. will definitely be back.
