Only got to drive past the building. Driveway was impressive, and we got to stop to take a few snaps.

We didn't see much of this only to see it from a city sights tour. The grounds, building and avenue looked great

I've attended several official receptions at Parliament Buildings (pictured above). Stormont Castle is nearby but it is not what most of the reviewers here are writing about. The white Parliament Buildings of the Northern Ireland Assembly are located at the end of a spectacular avenue, on a hilly site overlooking East Belfast. The surrounding Estate is open to the public, but to get into the Parliament Buildings you need to be a guest of an MLA or have an invite to an official function, or join a guided tour.
Inside and outside it is very impressive. Come and see for yourself

The hop on hop off bus takes you into the grounds and you walk up the drive through security and into a magnificent building, The front door is currently inaccessible due to works - don't be put off you can access through the side door. There was no guided tour at the time we visited so the official took us round and explained about the building and the political system. HE was happy for us to take photos and was very knowledgeable. IT is all absolutely free. Visit this historic building which also has good toilets and a small coffee shop

Whent on a bus tour of Balfast and during our visit we went to Storemont castle, I dont think it looks much like a castle but all the same its quite a stunning place set in magnificant grounds and immacuatly maintained, I think it looks better than Buckingham palace !!.
