“Highlight of our trip”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

Some friends from the North arranged for a punch with two MLA's who graciously hosted us in the Members' dining room. We talked history, politics and about the contribution Canada has made to Ireland over its history. Next they gave us a tour - fully narrated with true stories - of the building and its chambers. The drive up to Stormont is unparalleled with Carson rising out of the mist. Truly spectacular.

“Stormont tour”
Reviewed 24 May 2014 via mobile

Although its not designed for tourists its still a great place to visit and see the chambers as seen on tv. Plus the views are stunning from the hill especially on a sunny day

“Cold trip”

This estate is on a hill which can be home to very cold winds. It's an impressive building with breathtaking gardens and tree-lined roads.

Belfast bus tour has on/off stop at Stormont- fabulous building. we had just missed guided tour but think this would be really worthwhile to get the history of the building so suggest check tour times for your visit.

“Belfast must-see!”
Reviewed 7 May 2014

My two year old daughter and I visited Stormont recently. We primarily went for the large playground, at the bottom of the grounds, but it was closed, so we strolled up the mile. I love the sense of history and majesty of the mile, and my daughter thought Parliament was a Palace. We went on in and had tea and scones in the little cafe. Parliament was in session and we would have been able to go in, but I couldn't guarantee my daughter would be completely quiet, so we settled with a look around the front hall. The ceiling alone is worth seeing, painted in hues of blue, red and gold. If you're looking for a sense of the political and historical side of Belfast, definitely visit.
