However, was told that Irelands population is under 3 million and so they don't have many MPs. Also the MPs were on strike and so it was very quiet and they were in the process of laying off staff. Very pleasant staff too. The house was so small and there was very little else we could see

The guides are very good, and the building is fantastic. The history of the place and the little anecdotes were fascinating. And free entry. Well worth a visit.

We had an interesting and informative tour followed by an excellent lunch. The food was lovely and beautifully presented. The service in the restaurant was excellent as the staff were welcoming and attentive. They manage to create a relaxed atmosphere.
We will definitely return here on our next trip to Belfast.
