“Good night out”
Reviewed 15 July 2014 via mobile

Went with some friends looking for something a bit different.
Decor. ...good a bit touristy but nothing to complain about.
Service. ..excellent, can't fault it
Food....lovely, good spice if wanted.
Price ...reasonable. .£120 for 4 inc drinks so not bad.
Overall I would be happy to go back.

“We will not be back in a hurry.”
Reviewed 12 July 2014 via mobile

My wife and I went into Chiquito on a Saturday evening while we were waiting for our daughter to attend a function (Elsewhere). We were warmly greeted and quickly seated, offered a menu and informed who would be serving us for the evening. The starters were ok but when the main courses came they were both cold. My wife's main dish was "chilled" cold. The server could not be any apologetic. She spoke to the kitchen staff who stated that they were going to make fresh dishes. Even though they were very few people left in the restaurant it took an extraordinary time for the new dishes to come out.

While waiting for our fresh mains, I noticed that the coloured glass panels on the wall beside us were totally covered in a thick layer of dust as was the lamp shades (Made out of spoons etc).

To sum up: the serving staff were very efficient and helpful, the kitchen staff either "took their eye of the ball" or don't care and the management are not doing their job (When was the last time a manager did a floor walk? With their eyes open? to see the dust, dirt etc)

We will not be back in a hurry.

“Good food and atmosphere”
Reviewed 9 July 2014

living in Belfast and searching for something unusual we came across Chiquitos in Victoria Square. Nice atmosphere, nice staff and great food even for lunch.

the chorizo-chicken squewers are amazing so where the sides and of course the mix desert in the end with original churros, chocolate brownies, ice cream, and fruits.

will be back for more.

“Early dinner before the cinema”
Reviewed 20 June 2014 via mobile

I had been before was always good this time wasn't, starter was cold got it replaced ordered a 2nd drink never got it, waiter introduced himself at the start but didn't see him again, starter wasn't taken off the bill as we had been told and had to mention it when paying. Food was good once starter had been replaced so I think I would return.
