“Delicious Food, worth the price...”
Reviewed 23 November 2011

Had a delicious meal in Hooples with mum and sister on a quiet Tuesday evening in November... The menu takes a bit of getting used to, a sort of a mixture of tapas style and regular dishes. The chicken breast served on the bone was some of the tastiest and best cooked chicken I have eaten, the monkfish was delicious, the selection of breads fantastic, and I believe the vegetarian mushroom tartlet was also very tasty.
It wasn't cheap but it was worth it for the freshness of the taste and the obvious quality of the ingredients.
The desserts were absolutely gorgeous- the chocolate fondant, made to order, was melt in the mouth, and the panna cotta a delight.
Well woth a visit, and a welcome change from the Lisburn Road's traditional offering, a brave move to open up in these tough times and heres hoping it pays off.

“Loved everything but the price!”
Reviewed 27 October 2011

Great to see that someone has opened such an eatery in the area.

I liked everything but the price. The staff were great ,very attentive and informative.

The portions are small and expensive but the quality of the food is excellent.

Not for children

I would go back and recommend that you try for yourself.

“A most exciting and a new friendly way to eat out”
Reviewed 6 October 2011

This must be the best presented new style restaurant in northern Ireland
The prawn lollypops are totally amazing with the mango dip, the whole idea of going into a chic restaurant and eat either one dish or three or four is great, we ended up eating a total of 23 different dishes that we either shared between our group or in some dishes some greedy members of our group decided not to share ! We went on a Friday early evening and ended up staying until 1pm. The wine was first class and the thankfully not at all expensive ( very cleaver as we decided to stay rather than go to a bar)
There was 6 in our group and we felt as though we were a party of VIPs with the attention the staff paid to our table.
