It's not fine dining by any stretch of the imagination and it could well do with a decorative overhaul. However in my experience the best fish and chips around. Delicious. Who wants a poncy waiter anyway?

I have eaten here since I was at school. An institution and as authentic as ever. The best fish, chips, mushy peas, tea bread and butter in the world! Great fresh fish and friendly service.

i had always driven past longs and never ate there, however having got soaked in the rain ,we were parked near longs so dived in to get dried out and what a surprise! a really old fashioned place, this was a survivor from the past as places like this used to be all over the uk and ireland.the food was great and so reasonable, some of the staff serving at the counter were a bit miserable, but the lady who served us was very helpful and chatty-she obviously gets them most of their tips,a place not to be missed
