We did this tour with little expectation and knowing only a little about the troubles. Our guide Gerry could not have been more accommodating and was so knowledgable. He presented a balanced narrative, taking us around the city centre and into the residential areas of both Catholics and Protestants. He was able to answer all of our questions and where possible offered us to get out the taxi and take some time to take things in and take photos. We left with a new found understanding of both sides and some sobering memories of the murals and stories told, the feelings have stayed with us and without seeing some of the sights on this tour you really can’t grasp what has happened. I won’t share the photos because I think anyone visiting Belfast should do this tour...and if you can, do it with Gerry, fantastic guide!

Ceiran was fabulous, from the moment he picked us up from our motel he was engaging unbiased and thoroughly knowledgeable about Northern Ireland history religious political and sociology economic.
