What a beautiful way to spend a Saturday afternoon. I took my mum for afternoon tea and then onto The Opera House for The History of the Troubles, her much awaited Mother's Day gift! From the minute you walk into The Europe we felt special! We were greeted by a really lovely waitress called Veronica on leaving the lift at the 2nd floor Piano Bar, she showed us to our window seat, which was the best seat in the house for my mum as she loves to watch the world go by! The Pianist was playing away in the background a lovely mix of both old and new. The selections of teas were amazing and and the beautifully displayed tea stand was delicious, with the most heavenly bite size sweet and savour delights. We decided not to get the Prosecco addition but instead finished our treat with a beautifully made Bailey's Coffee and a Strawberry Daiquiri which was made and delivered by a lovely Maltese man who chatted away and was very friendly (Sorry didn't get his name!). Thanks for a amazing afternoon and will most definitely be back again!
