“Brilliant service and facilities”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 July 2014

Our fifth or sixth stay at this hotel - by far the nicest of the Radisson Blu chain that we have stayed at in Ireland. Vegetarian options at breakfast could be improved, but room quality and service both very high quality. There was a delay in the laundry service at the time of check out, but staff were very apologetic and deducted the price of two drinks from our bar bill as a good will gesture without any prompting. Highly recommended.

This was my second stay at the hotel and on this occasion also booked a room for my teams quarterly sales meeting.

The staff were all very friendly and check-in was fast and efficient. The bedroom was nice with a high level of cleanliness. Great bathroom with a decent shower.

Service in the bar was good (albeit pricey) and breakfast was excellent.

Only let down was 2 of my group being overbooked for a night which was frustrating as we had also booked the meeting room for the next morning.

Free WIFI that works well throughout the hotel.

Overall a decent hotel in a good location.

most of the radisson blu have the same problem: they are quite good hotels, but rather impersonnal. Same goes with the Radisson Hotel.

it is a clean, well maintained place, but the building looks like an office building and some déco choices are bizarre. on the other hand it is really clean, and the room are quite large.

I was at the first floor and the ceiling was impressively high but I do not know if it is the same for every floor.

the bar is just another bar, nothing special and there is small restaurant attached to it, where you also take breakfast, which by the way is decent and in accordance the the irish/english tradition (sausages, beans, etc.)

The main drawback is in fact the location. it is not really downtown, and if you want to have a drink or so, you have to get away from the neighbourhood.

fortunatly, Belfast is a small city so you will get to the townhall in 10 min.

finally, there is something a bit bothering: the parking is accessible, but to get through the barrier, you have to pay if you are not guest. which is ok... well except that some cabs apparently can not get there for free, so either you walk the last 40 meters, or you pay the 2,5 pounds for your taxi parking, which is quite ok, except that Belfast weather can be impredictable.

anyway, if you are there for business, it is a quiet place to work and Wifi is for free.

Thank you for your recent review of our stay with us.

We appreciate your comments and welcome your feedback in relation to your stay with us and your time dinning with us in our Filini restaurant.

In relation to the car parking at the hotel, we do offer discounted rates for all guests staying with us at the hotel. Taxi's that are coming into the hotel car park for either pick up's or drop off's I can confirm that this is free for them. We advise all taxi's to take a ticket from the car park barrier with the first 20 minutes being free, this applies for anyone that may be coming into the car park as charges start from 20 minutes onwards.

If you could confirm the taxi firm in which you used I can look into this further.

Please do contact me on zara.boyce@radissonblu.com

Kind Regards

Stayed one night as we needed to be at George Best Airport at 6:00am the following morning. The room was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Beautiful view and I loved how quiet it was. The curtains blocked out the light making it much easier to sleep. The only minor complaint is the shower which is over the bath. Not easy to use and not enough water pressure, also very slippery. Other than that everything was great and I would like to stay at this hotel again. Recommend.

Stayed for the weekend at this hotel - really enjoyed it. Location is great for the centre of Belfast and equally great and easy to get onto the motorways.
Rooms were comfortable and clean and staff friendly.
Certainly would stay there again

Room Tip: We stayed in 118 when I go there again I would ask for a room higher up so as to take in the view.

A colleague and I stayed here on Sunday 22nd June ahead of a work meeting at the Gasworks complex on the Monday.
The location was ideal. It was just a short taxi ride from City Airport (under £10 and approx 20 mins), and a ten minute walk from the city centre.
The hotel is set in a peaceful location, quiet and away from traffic noise.
It is modern and has a bar and restaurant on site. There is also a small car park which I think is chargeable.

The reception staff were very helpful and polite, and at their suggestion we got a discount on breakfast by buying it at check-in.
Breakfast was self-serve buffet of hot and cold food including cooked breakfast and a choice of cereals, yoghurts, cold meats and fruit.
The chef would also cook eggs to order.
The quality and choice available was very good for the price and they make a good cuppa!

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well maintained with a very good level of cleanliness.
There is good reliable free WIFI and cable TV.
The rooms have a nice shower and bath, safe, plenty of hanging space and an iron and ironing board.
The only really annoying thing is the crappy old hair dryers in the room. They're tiny and not very strong. It seems a really odd thing to cheap out on when the rest of the hotel is well finished to a high standard. Hopefully they'll sort this.

All in all I'd say this is a brilliant hotel for the price. The location is great and the facilities are very good.

For a good night out try the nearby Cathedral Quarter for great restaurants, pubs and bars.
