“staff very friendly and helpful”
Reviewed 16 October 2011

The hotel was very busy but the staff dealt with everyone very efficiently and quickly. They were cheerful and helpful. The rooms, while not very big were clean with all you require The breakfast was an all you could eat self service and they had special rates for evening meals.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights recently - excellent location, close to shops and amenities. Bedroom was very comfortable - superb breakfast for £7.99 - good choice and loads of food. We also had dinner and that was good too - very friendly waiter who did his best to get you to spend more - told us of all the offers - such as buy two glasses of wine and get the full bottle, or when you buy a gin and tonic - get a double for £1.50 more. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel - clean, comfortable and excellent value.

Room Tip: Book well in advance - we stayed on 5th floor and got nice room.

This Premier Inn has all the facilities you would need and it is classed as a budget hotel. You would not know this.Excellent eating and drinking area with large screen TVs.Very clean rooms and sitting area. All staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. We found out that it is cheaper to park next to the fire station as it is only 60p per hour from 8am to 6pm.If you pay before 6pm then you can park overnight free and miss out on the daily parking ticket run at 8am before the traffic wardens arrive. All shopping is very close and i would recommend this Premier Inn to anyone

Room Tip: We stayed on the fifth floor and it was very quiet.

Normally a 4-star traveler, so I definitely felt like I was rolling the dice on this hotel (I'm based in the US, so was not familiar with the chain before this stay). But price and location were right, and it was only one night so.. deep breath, let's see what happens.

I was floored. Might be "no frills", but most importantly the whole property was super-clean and well-maintained. Bathroom was pure function to the point of almost feeling like an airplane bathroom but it was spotless. Plus, fresh linens, very comfortable bed, tea kettle, TV, and great view (from 8th floor). Location is amazing--central, walking distance to train station and all the sites.

Didn't have the food, so can't comment on that, but everything else about the stay was just incredible value for money. I would absolutely stay here again. Another nice feature, each floor requires room key swipe for access, which means less unwanted traffic/noise, added security for solo travelers. The staff were also great.

Nothing fancy but everything was just right. Staff are very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The furniture is a bit cheap but the bed is very good. Good location and carpark is very close. I will be staying there again when I go to Belfast and I will defiantly be going back to Belfast. Love the city.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms near reception at weekends, a friend stayed in one and said it was a bit noisy.

I stayed overnight with my daughter, sister and mother for a shopping trip in September. We had 2 rooms for only £29 each. A real bargain, comfortable, clean rooms with everything we needed. Water is available to buy in reception for £1 per bottle if required but there are tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We had the £7.99 breakfast which meant my daughter ate for free - excellent and the staff were so helpful. The only down side is the parking - we stayed on a Friday night and so parked all day at the Castlecourt (£4.50 all day). We were very lucky to get a parking spot outside the hotel which is free overnight - remember to pay from 8am in the morning - it is very expensive at 30p per 15mins. A car park would be ideal as this hotel is A*. They don't have connecting rooms but request and they will give rooms next door to one another. Staff are so pleasant and helpful. I am returning again in February with my husband and 4 kids - 2 rooms at only £19 per room! Couldn't beat it:)
