“Excellent Stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2012

We stayed in the Premier Inn in Alfred Street Belfast with my two boys aged 9 and 12. We were doing a one night stay in Belfast and visiting the Titantic Exhibition and W5. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast was excellent with only one fault, the toaster was not working and we had to use a ordinary one which led to a little wait but as we were not under any time pressure so it didnt really matter. It was only a 10 minute walk to the Victoria Shopping centre. Overall it was a very positive experience and if travelling to Belfast again would not hesitate to stay here.

The staff were very friendly and helpfully and profesionaly. We had a nice room, the room was clean comfortable. But one day a cleaning lady forgot to our room. I dont know why. Maybe we were very tidy. I recommend Premier Inn.

Premier Inn had a sale and we booked the room based on this inn. This was our first say at a prmeier Inn and we were not disappointed. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and polite. The location was great. The only down side was that there was no parking and the hotel did not have an agreement with a parking company to give their guests and good rate.

My daughter and i stayed one night here mid July. I was paying for the accommodation with cash but was told i needed photo ID for this?????. A relative had booked the accommodation on her credit card so i was only aware of the problem when i tried to pay.The receptionist pointed out that this is Premier Inn policy but did not offer any explanation as to why this is the case.
I did not have photo ID on me so she spoke to someone in management who said it was fine and took the payment.
Apart from this, our stay was fine and the room was lovely and comfortable.
The breakfast was also very good and the restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient.

This was my very first visit to a Premier Inn and I was quite pleasantly surprised. This particular hotel has almost 150 rooms on 8 floors.

On the ground floor you are greeted at Reception, and the bar continues round the counter. We spent a few hours having some food and drink on comfortable sofas close to the bar.

We had tomato & basil soup; pizza; and club sandwiches. The food was of a good standard, the chicken toasties freshly cooked with real big pieces of chicken.

Our room was on the fifth floor. It has a dark purple theme. Everything was clean, tidy and spotless. The double bed was comfortable, snug and warm at night. There was a handy sofa-bed as well.

Our room had a flat-screen telly and a tea-making facility. There is plenty of storage space and the room was very quiet.

We prospect from our rear room was of an office-block, though I noticed a health club with indoor swimming-pool.

Breakfast, served between 7-11am, is fine; not as comprehensive as the four-star hotel we often stay at, though perfectly acceptable.

It comprised everything one would expect, including brown or white toast, fruit juice, cereals, fruit, cooked breakfast of hash browns, baked beans, plum tomatoes, fresh tomato, eggs (fried, scrambled), sausages, lean back bacon, mushrooms.

It is self-service, and there is tea and coffee.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and I've stayed at de luxe hotels.

I would not hesitate to stay here again.
