“Great Location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2014

Good location, staff were chatty and very helpful. Unfortunately we were put in a room that didn't exist (719 - no such room - ends at 718 LOL) problems with the reception computer, drunk set off the fire alarm at 1.30am so the entire hotel was evacuated but this was done extremely well and the staff were very apologetic. We still feel that the Premier Inn do the best breakfast .... EVER!! Unfortunately their evening food isn't up to standard. Overall you can't beat a Premier and this one is a good one!!

Room Tip: In case of fire evacuation - pick a low level room!!

Hello Douthwaite!

Thank you very much for writing us such a great review, your feedback is genuinely really appreciated by all of our staff as we regularly check Tripadvisor to make sure we keep doing things right! I am very pleased to see that again my team has been recognised for their professionalism during the unfortunate incident of our Fire Alarm being set off. Your health and safety is our first and foremost priority always. I’m really glad to see that you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to seeing you again for another fabulous breakfast!

Nice location very near the town, we were on the 4th floor which was fine. The room was ok apart from lots of holes in the curtains it was clean. The food in the restaurant was not wonderful. The fryers broke down and we waited a long time for the food (as I guess they had to cook the new potatoes) staff were friendly and the 2 for 1 offer between 5pm -7pm went down well. Breakfast was really nice, I would stay again if ever im back in Belfast

Hello Karen L!

Thank you for your brilliant review! We pride ourselves in creating a welcoming atmosphere along with clean and comfortable rooms so to have this recognised is a great boost for our teams hard work! All of your feedback is appreciated and will be fed back to the team, it is disapointing that our restaurant fryer broke down whilst you were dining and we apologise for the inconveniecne it caused to you. Rest assured it is back up and running, and is cooking up plenty of delicious chips!

Looking forward to seeing you again in the future and thank you once again for your review!

This weekend was booked for my 50th birthday with friends. I chose a Premier Inn as I have stayed in them before and they are always of a high standard and you know what you are getting (hairdryers and shower gel in the rooms as standard for example) I chose this 1 as it was in the city centre and even though my knowledge of Belfast is limited I knew it would be close to everything that we needed. The hotel was situated a 5 minute walk from the famous Europa hotel and St Georges Market so really handy. The welcome was friendly and check in efficient with the staff being able to get us all on the same floor. The rooms were spotless with all the usual facilities including THE most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Made getting up for breakfast really difficult! Breakfast was buffet style with everything you could possibly want. We treated ourselves to the full english which was hot and delicious. The bar facilities were good for pre/post night drinks and the atmosphere friendly and fun. All the staff were helpful and welcoming with no request being too big to accommodate and always with a smile and a "Your welcome". All-in-all a good weekend with close friends in a very good hotel.

Stayed recently at premier inn, overall a good hotel in a city centre location. Staff friendly and helpful with any queries.
If staying again will ask for a room to back of hotel as it got noisy on the front street.

Hello Kate M!

Thank you so much for your great review! It is wonderful to see how our teams' hard work is showing through to our guests. Thank you for recognising them, we all really appreciate it! Apologies for any disturbances on street during the night, Alfred Street is generally a quiet street but as we are city centre, at times there can be noise. Hopefully you will come back to visit us again so don't hesitate to let us know of your room preferences before arrival and we will certainly try our best to help!

Thank you again for your review and for choosing us!
