Visited Belfast and stayed here for two nights. It is very central, only minutes from the City Hall and numerous buses stop nearby. From Belfast city (George Best) airport ot only takes about 10 mins. The room was fine, a large double and standard single bed, good bathroom with bath and shower and plenty of towels. Very clean no complaints there. It is close to two shopping malls, various bars and eating places. I would recommend it if visiting Belfast for the ease of getting about the city centre.

Room Tip: The hotel is off the main road on a fairly quiet street so I dont think there would be a problem wh...

Everything about this premier inn was premier. We arrived early hoping to just leave our bags until the room was ready but we were lucky to get checked in straight away. The staff were excellent, very very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble,we were asked if we wanted maps, directions help with any other queries, and all delivered with a great big friendly smile, excellent,,and it's a fab location also for getting around. It was a bonus we could leave our bags on our last day as our flight was evening,This allowed us to do some more sightseeing without having to carry them along.,..Belfast...where do i start..the city is fab,the people are so friendly and we were even stopped when looking at our map to ask if we needed any help.I love the fact some of the shops are in old bank buildings and so much to see and do.Our reason for visiting was to see the Titanic exhibition,Its our first visit to this fab city but certainly won't be our last.I shall be booking my ticket again to embark on you again as soon as time off work allows.2 very happy first class passengers.!

Room Tip: higher rooms have less a/c noise ,we were on 3rd floor ,could hear it,but didn't keep us awake.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great prices.
Rooms are as always - clean and comfortable.
Breakfast is great - tasty and all you can eat. While there is still a healthy option with flavoured teas and a selection of fruit.
My only criticism would be that although they give you 30mins free wifi - you then have to pay!!
All in all probable the best (budget) chain going!!

I should start this review by confessing that I love Premier Inns, and I have never had a truly bad experience at any I have stayed in.

We had a family leisure break at this hotel from 14 to 18 July. Belfast is an incredible city where we encountered some of the most welcoming and kind people, and this is especially true of the Premier Inn on Alfred Street. We had checked in online, and were quickly and courteously given our keycards on arrival. One of the cards did not work, but this was quickly rectified.

The room was exactly what we have come to expect from this chain - very clean and very comfortable, with fresh linen and towels daily. The larger, wall-mounted television was a pleasant surprise The room attendants were efficient and inobtrusive, and friendly when we passed by.

The staff on reception, and in general, made my young son very happy simply by acknowledging him and making him feel like a special guest. The staff also gave us great advice on local restaurants and taxi firms.

The reason I haven't given five stars on this occasion is perhaps a bit harsh. The first evening we stayed, we took advantage of the meal deal offer and booked a table at 6pm, the time the restaurant opened. Unfortunately, several other tables had been booked at the same time and I do not think there was sufficient numbers of waiting staff or kitchen staff to cope adequately with the rush. We were fairly fortunate in that we received our courses before several other tables despite being seated after them. However, the waiting times on this particular evening were overlong. Also, having asked for my son's meal to come with our starter, it only arrived 5 minutes after our main meals. His chips never turned up at all but by this time we had already shared some of our own, and didn't inform the staff.

I feel that this was maybe a one-off incident, bearing in mind it was a public holiday Monday in that part of the UK. In any case, I would not hesitate to return to this hotel when we hopefully make another trip to Belfast next year.

Brilliant hotel we were only staying the one night but the staff were extremely friendly, helped us with parking the car! And even asked us out of the blue if we were sorted ok! So caring. Such a big comfy room comfy bed! Couldn't fault it and would deffo be back. Might be a bit too much to ask but would be nice if the room had a mini fridge. Deffo stay at this hotel !

Went with a group of 8 friends, 1 room was not on the same floor as the rest so they went the extra mile to find a spare room on the same floor! Amazing friendly staff, who are very helpful. Central location and great price breakfast. Can not fault it at all :) would definitely recommend!
