Its become a little institution of ours to get takeaway fish and chips when we're on holiday - we always look up the best chippy in the area on tripadvisor and head to it. The wait was a little long but at least you know they're cooking it fresh and I have to say we weren't disappointed. The jumbo cod was fresh and plenty for the two of us, and the chips were tasty too. It has a bustling quayside location and we sat and enjoyed ours in the cold Northen Ireland rain. Come to think of it, it always rains when we get takeaway fish and chips!

Went to mortons tonight as was recommended by a family member. Food was delicious. Cod was extremely fresh would say it was the nicest we have ever had. Others in our party had the chicken goujons these were also fantastic. Portions are big. A great little chip shop in a lovely location

Made a point of going here after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor.
Went on a Friday evening, Waited 20 minutes to receive our order - too long despite the fact that they were busy.
Have to say my fish & chips were disappointing: the fish didn't taste particularly fresh and both fish and chips were a little greasy.
My wife was equally underwhelmed by her chicken burger.
Price was on the steep side for fish & chips; would have been fine if it had lived up to expectations.
Perhaps we got them on an off day.

We'd been here a few years ago after my brother said how good it was and for once he was right. And we were back this week and we weren't disappointed. Really crispy well cooked fish and lovely chips too. And the onion rings are also very crispy and tasty. Yum yum!
