“Fresh food, good value”
Reviewed 12 August 2013

Stumbled on this place as there is parking out front and it was raining. Simple food, but very fresh and good at a good price. Friendly staff and a great view of the bay, a real gem.

“Excellent”
Reviewed 21 July 2013

Stayed in ballycastle for a week and I'm raging that I only came to this cafe on the last 2 days. The staff were polite, they couldn't do enough for you. There was an excellent selection of food and food was excellent. Had 3 kids with me and they were accommodated well.

“That's not a side salad that's a meal in itself!”
Reviewed 24 June 2013

Excellent position looking over the harbour this was a lovely place for a lunch on a trip up the Antrim Coastal Route.

One of us ordered the cheesy lasagne with garlic bread and salad and the other the ciabatta steak and onion sandwich with salad. When the food arrived an extra empty plate was brought to help me managed the sandwich and the salad without making a mess. The "salad" was amazing - tomaoes, red onion, tomato, cucumber, green pepper, sweetcorn, potato salad, pasta salad, chick pea salad and a selection of green leaves...... all for about £7!! The lasagne was gorgeous too and obviously home made. There are a lot of big restaurants which could learn a good lesson here.

The staff were lovely too. Thank you!

“Brilliant food, fun decor and family atmosphere”
Reviewed 24 June 2013

The is a little gem of a restaurant, the food is fantastic the service is the same and you can eat while enjoying great views of the sea, marina, beach and Fairhead in Ballycastle. There is a great selection on the menu and the owner are more than happy to make something up for toddlers that off menu. The prices are keen and the interior has a funky VW camper decor, spotless clean and very well laid out inside. We have been back many times and i have personally tried as many different items off the menu as possible and i'm yet to be disappointed.

Whether your looking for a steak dinner or just a cup of coffee you couldn't go wrong choosing here. The only drawback is that it only serves until 4pm :( .

Great food, good value, excellent setting and pleasant service .
