“Best Course on the North Coast”
Reviewed 11 February 2014

This golf course is one of the best courses on the North coast by far! Thats saying something as the competition is hot!
It has a great mix of park land (first 5 holes) and links, with superb views north over Rathlin Island, and you can also see Scotland!

A must visit!

“Fantastic views over the Antrim coast.”
Reviewed 13 September 2013

We played Ballycastle on a very windy tuesday10th Sept afternoon. My father who is 84 played in a two ball with me whilst my friends played in a three ball behind. Because of the height/cliff top desighn of the course we hired a buggy{Highly reccommended}. The layout of Ballycastle is initially parkland for the first five holes and then you cross over the road to take on the links with the climbs and winds. My father and I really enjoyed the golf and the views looking towards Torr Head. This is the second time I have played here and it is a beautiful part of the world.

My wife and I played the course and thoroughly enjoyed. Great course, great lunch.

The views from the course were stunning and had we not been golding other golfers uo, would have had a picnic mid course!

Thank you.

“Causeway Golf 2013 #4”
Reviewed 26 June 2013

This is one of the four courses played in the Causeway Golf tournament. 2013 was my fourth time in a row! The course starts with 5 holes of parkland, then you cross the street and play 13 holes links. The greens are really good and putt very true. Fairways are fine and you need to be in them! A very enjoyable course to play.

“Three distinct courses in one”
Reviewed 26 August 2012

This course is hard to describe - first part parkland, second and fourth part links and the third part is on top of a hill. The first five holes are across the street, looping around an old abbey. You go back across the street to play a few links holes. To climb the hill, there is a tricky par 4 then an uphill par 3. The hill top portion go back and forth across the curvature of the hill. The final hole is a links hole back towards the clubhouse.

For those that tire easily, this course may not be for you as the hill climbs are fairly intense. The personality factor of the course, however, is high and this course is worth a visit.
