“Excellent place to stay”
Reviewed 15 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Really enjoyed our stay at Pilgrim cottage. Don and Ann were very warm and welcoming and provided really good information about the locality...restaurants, sights, places to visit. The setting is peaceful and there is a lovely garden to enjoy...especially watching for the red squirrels who came to visit the boxes just outside the back door. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. A perfect place to explore all the area has to offer....Glens of Antrim, Giants Causeway, Rathlin Island, Carrickareade rope bridge and all the lovely beaches and scenery

“Excellent base for enjoying the Antrim Coast”
Reviewed 8 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We had a very relaxing holiday at The Lodge set in a peaceful part of an area of outstanding natural beauty along the North Antrim coast. Ann and Don were very hospitable and have obviously given a great deal of thought and attention to providing everything that visitors need to thoroughly enjoy their stay. The Causeway Coastal Route and other roads provide easy access to many spectacular locations and sights including Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede, Mussenden Temple and various beaches along the way. Careful drivers will enjoy the Torrs Head Scenic route. Ballycastle is only about 4 miles from The Lodge and visits to Mauds ice cream shop and Morton's fish and chip shop are recommended as is a day trip to Rathlin Island and then the bus to the RSPB Centre. We hope to return to The Lodge for another wonderful holiday.

Pilgrim Lodge was our best stay ever, cream tea on arrival, spotlessly clean with well equipped kitchen every comfort thought about, Ann and her husband were kindness itself and I would recommend to anyone with confidence.

“Perfect base for the Antrim Coast in idyllic surroundings”
Reviewed 30 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

My husband and I have just returned from a very relaxing holiday on the beautiful Antrim Coast made all the better by staying at the Lodge which was ideally situated for all the tourist attractions on the Coast - Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede and Bushmills to name but a few- but it really was a home from home with all you needed to make your stay as perfect as possible. Don and Ann were very welcoming and imparted their local knowledge which was very helpful, especially recommending the Torr Head Scenic drive which really was breathtaking - and the welcome goodies were most appreciated.
We were very lucky with the often changeable Northern Ireland weather and after a day sightseeing it was very nice to come back to such peaceful surroundings with a lovely garden and summer house to enjoy the evening sun.

“A great base to tour the beautiful countryside”
Reviewed 22 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

This is a delightful place to base yourself and tour the outstanding scenery of the Antrim coast and countryside. The Dark Hedges are only ten minutes away as is the nearest beach at Ballycastle.
Don and Ann are warm and inviting hosts. The lodge has a wealth of literature to read about the local area with many tips to save you time and effort.
The lodge is very well presented and furnished and the bed is extremely comfortable with lovely soft bed linen. During the night you cannot hear any noise which makes for an absolutely blissful escape from city life.
Warmly recommended.

“Amazing!”
Reviewed 14 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Ann & Don are amazing hosts, who go that little bit further to make their guests feel welcome. The Lodge, is small but finished to a very high standard & spotless.Rural location but not too far away from town. Forest walk across the road from cottage, where we spotted two deer on the path. Over all, a very happy, relaxing place to stay.

The Lodge at Pilgrim Cottage makes an excellent base for touring the North Antrim coast. The accommodation is beautifully clean, well equipped and comfortable. The owners made us most welcome, as did everyone we met during our stay. We have no hesitation in recommending this cottage.
