Stayed Between 25th to the 1st in chalet 2 the views are amazing you can see the hole of Ballycastle And Rathlin Island the Only downside was you could not see Fair Head which I believe only chalet 1 could see it.The facilities inside the chalet is good it includes a Sky TV Free Wifi and kitchen appliances. It is about 25mins walking distance from the Dimond which is the Center of Ballycastle and about 20mins walk to the Beech so the main areas are within walking distance. well worth the price and definitely come back :-)

“Perfect holiday accomodation”
Reviewed 20 January 2016 for a stay in October 2015

We had a wonderful week staying at Ocean View Chalets. The accommodation is fantastic; beautiful and modern, clean and comfortable. We loved the design and layout of the property and felt totally at home. The view from the panoramic double height windows is absolutely amazing and as we were lucky enough to have a week of perfect blue sky weather, we spent many a relaxing time just sitting enjoying it.

The location is excellent, just outside the town of Ballycastle within a short drive of many Causeway Coast attractions and just over an hour from Belfast. We had never visited Northern Ireland before so were able to enjoy both a busy city visit and a more idyllic time exploring the stunning Causeway Coast.

We were impressed to discover that the chalets are completely powered by a wind generator and a small solar farm located further up the hill to the rear of the properties and also that the water supply comes directly from its own well. Marvi, who looks after the properties, was so helpful and informative, kindly giving up his time to show us how it all worked.

We would thoroughly recommend Ocean View Chalets and the Causeway Coast area to anyone.

“Amazing views in an ultra modern chalet”

We spent 4 days over the Christmas holidays with our young children in chalet number 2. It was absolutely fabulous. The chalets were recently constructed and are furnished to a very high standard. We had a small issue with the Wi-Fi but the owner, Pearse, got the problem rectified very quickly. The views are breath-taking- a panoramic view of Rathlin Island, the Mull of Kintyre and of Ballycastle Bay. We will definitely be returning to stay!

“Fantastic holiday chalet”

I have just had the pleasure of a weekend break in this chalet. The panoramic views are stunning, you can clearly see Rathlin island and the Scottish coast. The town is close by but it enjoys a very peaceful location. The quality of the accommodation is ABSOLUTELY 5 STAR. I would seriously recommend that you book now because surely this place will be impossible to get in the summer when more people know about it.
The only problem was we were only there for a weekend.
Congratulations to the owners this property, it does you proud. I will certainly be back.

Thanks very much

The chalets is faultless. Spotless on arrival with ample space for everyone. We travelled as our family of 4 and my parents.

The chalet is finished to a high standard and has all the mod cons you could ask for from wifi to sky sports.

We all fell in love with Ballybastle and would highly recommend it. We can't wait to return !

“The most brilliant view”

This is one of my best ever holiday rentals. A magnificent 180 view over Ballycastle and the costline looking towards Scotland. The colours of the sky and sea are ever changing. stunning! The chalets are all modern new build with huge picture windows and very high quality furniture and kitchens with granite worktops. The single upper floor bedroom is huge and also overlooks the sea. As For position Ballycastle is just a mile down the road with a beautiful white sand beach and great range of shops and restaurants. Maud's icecream is a must. Along the coast a short drive you have the Giant's Causeway. the only negative is the very ugly industrial looking building that now forms the visitor centre for Giant's causeway. Hard to believe that an architect designed it and even worse that the National Trust accepted the design. a blot on a beautiful landscape. the antidote is to return to the chalet with a bottle and red and watch the sun go down across the wide open sea.
