Stayed in this amazing house for just under a week, could have stayed much longer. House was beautifully laid out and very much a "happy home" everything you would need was there and we wanted for nothing. location was so perfect for walks along the beach , the river and into the town. peace and quiet at night and only the sound of wild birds in the evening along with the waves lapping along the beach. we would highly recommend this property and we will be back and thanks to Sean for the lovely welcome and louise for the super CD player!

“Cheap & Cheerful”
Reviewed 5 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We have given this accommodation a four star rating purely on the price we paid and what we got for our money. The house is very centrally situated overlooking the sea and beach. Parking was perfect and safe. Beds were comfortable and everything else was adequate apart from the towels supplied. The best towel we had was our dogs towel that we had bought with us. The owners daughter lives next door to this property and was a pleasure to meet. She asked us all the times we saw her if everything was OK and did we need anything. As mentioned in previous review their is a water gully running through the adjacent land which is not fenced off into a deep hole. This could be very dangerous to children & animals if they wander near it. For the price charged we had no complaints but I am sure other people will review it and pull it to prices.

“just about adequate”
Reviewed 23 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

The house is in a excellent location and Ballycastle is a nice town. The property is only adequately equipped and missing things like coat hooks, waste paper bins and kitchen equipment-salad bowls, cooking utensils etc. The owner asked for my dog not to go into the lounge and of course bedrooms which only leaves the kitchen which is dominated by a huge out of place table, awkward to move around and certainly not very pet friendly. The property is clean except for the bathroom which has mould in between a lot of the tiles and again is poorly equipped. Our worst concern is the private garden, there is open access to derelict land which has a stream running through and is dangerous. A hazard for pets and of course children.
