“Paying for entry to a church?”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

The Cathedral was a bit difficult to find, but it was quite interesting driving round and round the wee narrow streets of central Armagh. There was a £2 admission charge. I paid up because the man in the booth was quite pleasant and I didn't want to hurt his feelings, but I object in principle to paying to go into a place of worship. The church was interesting enough, but I was there mainly for the association of the site with St Patrick. The gardens were nice for a stroll.

“Fascinating place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 February 2014

The kids and parents all loved visiting, especially the crypt.
Small charge recommended for upkeep but verger rounded the entrance down for our group.
