“Glastongerry 2014”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2014

Spent 2 nights camping in the grounds of the shop for a friends 30th birthday. Had a fantastic time. John and Elaine let us take over most of the grounds. They also came part of the celebrations. They were extremely warm and friendly and John cooked an amazing feast on the Saturday night. It truly was an unique experience for my first time up North. Thank you both. N x

“Warmest welcome, great food, wonderful memories”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014

John and Elaine couldn't be more welcoming hosts. Visited for a family party get together / mini festival and the entire day was fantastic. The setting is outstanding, homemade bread and wholesome food was delicious and everybody has had a fantastic time. A wee gem in the heart of the mournes. Take a scenic drive and pop in to see for yourself. Thanks.

“Wonderful project”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 July 2014

On first driving into the yard I was firstly shocked to see the condition of the old house but on entering the craft shop I entered a completely world full of all things crafty and homely. Our party once seated were greeted like one of their family and John and Elaine give us their full attention. On asking about the history of the old house we were given an explaination of what they expected to do by them selves. I wouldn't say it was like "The good Life" but it was idealic all the same. It has to be seen to be believed.

Thank you for your kind comments!

It was very nice to meet you and share our plans and ideas for the project. Your interest was most heartening, as was the discussion on Lomo phtography. We're glad that you had a good time, and look forward to your next visit when you can see what progress we have made.

Thanks again John & Elaine

“Fantastic spot - couldn't ask for better!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 May 2014

Absolute wonderful place - like a home away from home. From the minute we set foot through the door to the minute we left we were made feel welcome with fabulous cake (could have sat eating lemon drizzle cake all day, will have to work my way through the rest of the menu on future visits!) and company. Like other visitors, Charlie quickly became our best friend, the owners Elaine and John are warm and fabulously talented people.

Beautiful views and a peaceful location - a wonderful spot which I hope to return to again many times!
