A fine focal point in this town.Helpful staff and some good publications. I called to the church in Saul , which is nearby, as well as the reputed grave .of St.Patrick. A nice place that does not overly use its historic importance to sell goods and services.

Have visited several times with my young son... not a lot for locals who probably know the history... can see the potential for Tourists... huge magnet for Foreign Visitors...

On a recent trip out we decided to stop into the st Patrick's centre. We cannot commend enough the beautifully presented venue and welcoming staff.... Seriously worth a visit!!! Also stop by the sights around Saul! I am sure the staff in the centre will be just as happy to direct you as the did with me.

The centre's exhibition clearly differentiates between the historical record (in Patrick's "Confession") and the spurious miracle stories of the hagiographers. Clever use of interactive display with audio guide. The exhibition completes with an IMAX film which sums up the story. You can just pay to watch the film only but you'd miss the worthwhile exhibition. Good cafe upstairs which opens out into a delightful garden in which you may also eat, including under some cover.

It tells the story of St Patrick. It is well thought out and is not religiously biased. I enjoyed the visit there along with a visit to Saul church and inch abbey.
