“Outstanding!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2014

Having eaten in Castillo before I decided to use them for outside catering, the platters were amazing with an array of choice from salmon to snail, walnuts to baby apples!!! It is an injustice to say that they were amazing!!! The girls were delighted and I was amazed at the creation that I collected!!! Ready on time, efficient helpful service and excellent value for money!!!

Absolutely love this restaurant. The food is amazing. I have been several times now and every time they have maintained their standards. The food is not only delicious but freshly prepared.

There is always a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The staff are always happy to help. This is an excellent place to go.

“Great find in Killough”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

Heading to Dublin by the coastal route we came across a little restaurant at the end of the Main St in Killough. We decided to have a late lunch at 3.30 and although somewhat late we were quickly seated. The decor is quirky, bright and cheery and the extended family involved are lovely. Many of the guests were local and there was a great atmosphere. As the two of us were in a hurry we shared a starter of mackerel tampenade which was delicious. Then my daughter had chicken with chorizo and I excellent hake both served with al dente vegetables and creamy mash. With tea and coffee we shared a superb fig tart on a perfect pastry base. This was great value at £28.00 and BYO is an added bonus. We will be returning soon!!
