“Mourne Tea”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2014

Mother and I visited Enniskeen on Mothers Day. We had reserved a table, and it was available immediately. We enjoyed an excellent afternoon 'Mourne Tea' - sandwiches, scones (with jam & cream) & mini- cakes. Service was great, and the staff we met were all very friendly. Our family always enjoys a visit to Enniskeen, and we would highly recommend this hotel.

Wife and I stayed here over St. Patricks weekend, first time we have stayed at the Enniskeen and we where pleasantly surprised. We booked one of their new executive rooms (just been refurbished) which looked out over the mountains, stunning. The place is spotless and if you are looking to escape and unwind you should not be disappointed

Really enjoyed our stay here in July in this tranquil country house. The room we stayed in was adapted for wheelchair use. Not sure if all of the rooms are the same. Would have preferred a standard room and bathroom. The barman was so nice & even arranged water and ice for me to take on a day trip. The food was very nice. Fantastic grounds to go for a stroll around. Would recommend this guest house & would stay again.

It was my Dad's 90th birthday last weekend so the family went for lunch to the Enniskeen and then on to the Slieve Donard to stay for the weekend. It is a large mansion house in fantastic grounds with wonderful views. The lunch was great and service excellent. Personally I prefer modern buildings and restaurants so it wasn't my choice of venue but it was for Mum and Dad and they loved it. I think the service would definitely be second to none with a real personal touch.

We booked the Enniskeen hotel for the reception for our baby's christening and we had a wonderful day. In the run up to the day the staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful, and on the day everything ran like clockwork - no mean feat as there were over 50 guests, almost half of which were children! There was great choice on the menu and the desserts were fantastic. The hotel is beautifully situated and we were made to feel incredibly welcome. I would strongly recommend the Enniskeen for anyone with a special occasion to celebrate.

My friend, daughter and grand-daughter went today for afternoon tea in the Enniskeen. Such a lovely treat and very reasonably priced. We had a lovely selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes with wonderful attentive service. So cosy and such lovely views even though the weather was atrocious! The staff could not be more friendly and were very welcoming to my daughter's little baby. We'll be doing this again - a lovely treat

Room Tip: We didnt stay but you need to book for afternoon tea

My parents took my sister and her family and me and my family to the Enniskeen on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary as this was where they had held their wedding reception in the early 60s - very special for all of us and especially the grandchildren as we were able to look at the wedding album and pick out different guests and parts of the hotel - lent a real sense of occasion. The service was excellent throughout, dinner really well presented and served and the selection of wines on offer really top-notch. What you get here is really attentive and personal sevice and all done so professionally and unobtrusively. Rooms very comfortable and clean and some of the views just stunning as the weather fronts rolled across outside. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had with lots of extra tea and toast as required. We had some smaller children with us and they fitted in without a problem and were made to feel very welcome.
Thankyou all at Enniskeen for such a wonderful stay and for delivering such great service now and down the years.
