We stayed here for a short break at the end of August, the owner was very accommodating providing us with a family room at a brilliant price for 3 nights. Breakfasts were fresh and delicious!! Yum yum!! We were 20meters from the beach and just behind the main town were there's some beautiful restaurants. Would recommend to families and couples.

This is my second stay in the beach house b&b in newcastle, first class service as always, room is very clean and comfortable, bathroom is very clean and nice, shower is lovely and warm and loads of room, nice big room with period features! Beds are lovely and comfortable and your made to feel at home by the owners! Myrtle was very helpful and up for a chat! Me and my granny had an early trip to a destination for the day and myrtle was so so good and moved our breakfast 2 hours previous to the original time! Such a lovely location this b&b is in! It over looks the sea and there's a balcony for guests, the owners myrtle and her husband are so helpful and willing to do anything to please there guests in anyway they can! First class accommodation, lovely lovely place and will certainly come back!

Myrtle meets you with a hearty welcome and treats you like family at this beautifully run bed and breakfast. The room looking out to the Irish Sea is comfortable and has great views of the promenade and sea. The breakfast is among the best in NI-- lovely full breakfast, cereals, yogurts, fruit, granola, porridge, juices, many kinds of breads, pressed coffee and tea. When staying here, you are very near the Newcastle town center, where lots of shopping, ice cream, and entertainment keeps this sea-side town bustling. Each room is en suite and non smoking.

Stayed here in March 2013 over st patricks day.

The B+B was loevely, very accomdating for a family of four.

Our room was gorgeous not what I was expecting. Very modern.

The woman that runned the b+b was really nice and accomdated my children. My wee one is very fussy when coming to food but they brought her out a cup and her own bowl of porrige for breakfast. The breakfast was delicious.

Would definately stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: We had a room to the back think a room to the front would be nicer as you would have full view of th...

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and were made welcome straight away by the B&B owner. Lovely rooms as always and walking distance to pubs and restaurants.

Breakfast is either the best ulster fry you can think off or cereal and toast etc. I recommend the FRY!

Room Tip: Try and get the front ones with sea view but the Mourn view ones are great as well.

Attending a wedding at the nearby Slieve Donard, I found this through Tripadvisor and was more than pleased with the choice. The spacious bedroom had a fine view across the Irish Sea and the Slieve Donard was but a few minurtes walk. It is also close to a number of restaurants. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the full Irish breakfast excellent. Perhaps my only criticism would be that breakfast was served from 09.00, whihc seems a bit late and may inconvenience some.

Room Tip: Ask for the sea view
