We stayed at the Cherryhill Lodge for two nights as we had a wedding close by. Initially there was a small glitch with our booking which meant that the room wasn't quite ready however it was all sorted quickly! Patricia was very welcoming. Our room was lovely, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Being 6 months pregnant this was a relief. The shower was strong and spacious and thand towels provided were soft. The blinds were great which meant a good lie in in the morning. and big with amazing views of the mountains. Home baked cup cakes were ready on arrival with the tea making facilities. Breakfast was amazing, we both had the fry which was generous in size and cooked to perfection. Freshly squeezed orange juice to top it off. Newcastle itself is lovely and we were gutted that we weren't staying longer as there is loads to do, beautiful beach and nice bars and restaurants! We had friends stay in the Slieve Donard hotel and we had a sneaky peak at their room, can honestly say ours was better, and at a fraction of the price! Brilliant stay and would highly recommend!!

A wonderful find, close to the lovely town of Newcastle. The house is immaculate and we had a beautiful garden and mountain view from the Garden Room. The hosts were friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. The sunroom beside our bedroom was a lovely addition and we enjoyed a glass of wine here. A fridge, glasses and homemade cup cakes are provided by the owners. We explored the near by Tolly Forest Park with its beautiful walks.

We stayed at Cherryhill Lodge as we were attending a wedding nearby..On arrival the staff were welcoming and very helpful..the loft we booked was amazing with outstanding views of the Mournes...Breakfast was a feast!.Such a wonderful place to stay and they went out of their way to help even driving my Son-in-Law to pick his car up the next day!..Will definitely return to this gem of a place.

Room Tip: The loft is amazing!

We stayed in Cherryhill for 2 nights. We climbed Slieve Donard and a few other mountains and toured the area. Patricia and John have a lovely house backing onto the mountains, just outside Newcastle. Our room was excellent and breakfast was superb. Our hosts were friendly welcoming, chatty and informative. A very strong recommendation.

We only had 1 night in this delightful B&B when we went to a wedding in the town. The welcome was friendly and our room was perfect. It has fabulous views of the mountains from the sun lounge but is close enough from the town for nights out etc. We would definitely stay here again.
