I have stayed in this hotel about 5 or 6 times now and i really do think it is hard to beat. It has the perfect location for if you feel like getting out for a dander around newcastle's promenade or looking round some shops. The staff are so pleasant and the spa area is to die for, the best i have been to. It is definately worth a visit. The rooms are also gorgeous and its a very clean hotel. The only fault i have is that every time we ask for a sea view and are yet to get one we are always stuck at the back of the hotel looking at brick walls :( so make sure you ask for this and i hope you are luckier than me !

Thank Stephanie J

Amazing traditional hotel... stayed
For 1 night and enjoyed the fab spa gym and leisure facilities. Reception were extremely friendly and welcoming.Only downside was the food. We ordered room service and it was cold on arrival. We would defenitely return
We overslept for check out and we called reception. There wasn't an issue they didn't charge any extra at all.
I would recommend this Hotel no problem
and for eating theres a beautiful cafe by the Donard park called NIkkis cafe

Really enjoyed climbing Slieve Donard. It can be a little difficult find the trail at the bottom of the mountain but once you're on track this is an excellent hike with variety and great views. We climbed on a warm day and I enjoyed jumping in the rock pools on the way back down. The views over Newcastle and the strand are exceptional.
