We love the Everglades, we stayed from 3/7-7/7.
We arrived in Derry and checked into the City Hotel Derry and was appalled by the state it was in - it was noisy, dirty, definitely not worth the money they were charging so we hastily checked out and checked into the Everglades and what a wonderful change it was! We didn't know what to expect, but from the first meeting with the lovely girl at reception, it was wonderful.
A very peaceful hotel where staff were kind and friendly.
They saw how much luggage we had (four of us, 2 adults and 2 small children) and upgraded us with no added expense, giving us two adjoining rooms instead of just the one we rented.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, the food was lovely too. Nothing was too much trouble and the rate was cheaper than the city hotel.
It was a pleasure to return at the end of each day. The beds were very comfortable.
I won't hesitate to return, thank you Everglades for rescuing us and for being so lovely.
