Only stayed one night. Service outstanding. Staff lovely. Grounds amazing. Given the location and the history of the place. It is reasonably priced. My room was lovely clean tidy and fresh. I would recommend the walks. The breakfast was to die for. Well worth a visit.

We stayed just one night at Beech Hill. I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was so pleasant and eager to make our stay a good one. We ate dinner and breakfast there and found the presentation of food to be magazine-quality. The grounds are peaceful and well-maintained. An idyllic spot.

We visited Derry in March, and this was the best accommodations we had. We even stayed in castles that were not as nice as this. The service was outstanding and although there was still ice on some of the ponds, the grounds were beautiful. If you enjoy a nice morning walk, there are trails surrounding the house with history to enjoy. The interior has been well maintained. The rooms are all historically unique and are clean. We loved our stay here... We wish we stayed here longer.

Room Tip: We stayed in a room with a great view over the gardens, but all of the rooms we saw would have been...

I had the occasion to be on business in the North West and The Beech Hill was a perfect location for our business lunch. The proprietor took time to show us the walled garden and explain their ethos toward slow food. We were serve a delicious lunch which reflected the hotel's slow food values and all delivered in a beautiful, calm and tastefully decorated environment.

I was there on business, my next trip with be a leisure visit and I'm encouraging friends and family to check it out.

My wife and I did a self guided tour of Ireland for two weeks staying at various types of hotels / castles. We truly enjoyed our two nights at Beech Hill. We had a beautiful room, the whole staff was very friendly, and the grounds were great. I liked the fact that we had a cocktail before dinner in the lounge and also ordered our dinner while seated there enjoying our drinks. They told us that when our dinner was ready, they would then seat us in the dining room. Worked out great. I highly recommend Beech Hill for anyone looking for a great experience.

Room Tip: I believe the room number was #51. It is a one bedroom suite. Gorgeous
